SXSW 2013's ZERO CHARISMA Has A Trailer!

Nordling here.

First, it's executive produced by Michael Paul Stephenson of BEST WORST MOVIE and THE AMERICAN SCREAM, which automatically gives it geek cred.  But yeah, I'm a sucker for D & D.  Played it growing up, and although that particular hobby has faded over the years, it's because of lack of time more than anything, and not because I grew out of it.  The best thing about RPGs, for me, was hanging with friends, making our own stories, and just having a great time.

Sure, this looks to hit all the clichés.  But there seems to be something sweet and not mean about the trailer.  Scott is the ultimate game master, but when a new player comes into the group, Scott's entire worldview is challenged, and his life gets changed in ways that he never anticipated.  Directed by Andrew Matthews and Katie Graham, ZERO CHARISMA looks quaint, and perhaps it's my own inner nerd responding to the trailer, but I really can't wait to see this.

Trailer from Twitchfilm:

Hopefully I'll be seeing this at SXSW.  Looks right up my alley.  Get out that D20, people.

Nordling, out.
