Harmony Korine's SPRING BREAKERS has long been touted as the wildly transgressive cinematic event of 2013, but the trailers thus far have made the film look a little tame. For those of you eager to see Selena Gomez torch her good-girl image (Vanessa Hudgens trashed hers long ago), this brand new international trailer should be more to your liking.
This burst of bad behavior was financed by the daring and (thankfully) deep-pocketed Megan Ellison through her Annapurna Pictures label. It's scheduled to hit theaters on March 22, 2013, and hopefully will have more to offer than scene after scene of bikini-clad cuties cavorting with a corn-rowed James Franco. But if that's all it is, I ain't gonna complain.
