NBC Greenlights Pilot For ALICE IN WONDERLAND Sequel Series, To Be Written By That Girl Who Scripted Whedon-Free BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER Reboot!!

I am – Hercules!!

Type Lewis Carroll’s name into IMDb and ask yourself if we need one more take on “Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.”

NBC’s answer is yes, and the network has just taken to pilot “Wonderland,” a sequel to Carroll’s books, this time about a 21st century woman named Clara who now finds herself waging war against Carroll’s Alice, who is now the Queen of Wonderland.

Of course the real inspiration for this project has got to be the success of “Once Upon A Time” over on ABC.

The “Wonderland” pilot is being penned by hot young actress Whit Anderson (“Yes Man”), who was previously hired to write that big-screen Giles-free, Willow-free, Xander-free, Whedon-free “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” reboot that went nowhere in a hurry. Has anybody read that script?
