NBC says of tonight’s “Women in Garbage”:
In order to get more women hired in government, Leslie and April handle a garbage route. Meanwhile, to help his growing business, Tom enlists the help of Andy and Ben to teach him about basketball, and Ron is left to watch Diane's (guest star Lucy Lawless) kids while their babysitter is out of town.
NBC says of tonight’s “Customer Loyalty”:
Dwight tries to prevent Darryl's move to Athlead. Jim is forced to miss Cece's first recital when a big investor exits his new company, to Pam's intense disappointment. Nellie exposes Pete and Erin. And we start to see behind the scenes of the documentary.
Not a lot of people tuned in for it, but Jack and Liz nearly slept together last week, and Liz learned at episode’s end that NBC had cancelled “The Girlie Show.” The hour-long series finale airs next week. NBC says of tonight’s “A Goon’s Deed In A Weary World”:
As she and Criss (guest star James Marsden) receive some unexpected family news, Liz tries to rally her staff to save "TGS". Tracy and Jenna start to plan for their careers beyond the show, while Kenneth interferes with Jack's appointment of a new NBC president.
Shawn Ryan’s ABC nuclear submarine drama “The Last Resort” dives into its 13th and final installment tonight, precisely tying the episode count on both Ryan’s “Terriers” and Ryan’s “Chicago Code.” It was better than a lot of dramas ABC has dumped in that slot and you have to give a network credit for trying something different.

Even against the year’s first Thursday “American Idol,” “Parks and Recreation” brought the key demo to NBC’s normally disastrous 8:30 p.m. slot. “Up All Night” never got better than a 1.4 there (“Up’s” last new episode at 8:30 sputtered to a 1.0). With “The Office” closing for good four months hence, “Parks” looks like NBC’s top sitcom and a lock for next season.
“1600 Penn,” meanwhile, looks like a disaster, its second episode at 9:30 losing almost half of “The Office’s” key demo.
