Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Danny Boyle's TRANCE has been sneaking under the radar a bit. Seeing release in just a couple months, this flick should be making all of us giddy with anticipation. It's an original crime thriller from Danny Boyle and his Trainspotting/Shallow Grave/A Life Less Ordinary/Beach screenwriter John Hodge starring James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson and Vincent Cassel.
Somehow hypnosis is involved in this story of an art auctioneer trying to recover a lost painting and that's all I need to know.
The teaser poster was released today (I saw it first on the CriterionCastBlog, but it originated somewhere at TotalFilm)and it's very old school Saul Bassian stuff, the kind of work you usually only see at Mondo these days.
