The Kidd here...
Guillermo del Toro must have really liked what he got out of Charlie Hunnam on PACIFIC RIM and vice versa, because they're already looking to work together again, now that Hunnam has entered into talks to star in CRIMSON PEAK, according to Variety, possibly alongside Emma Stone, who is also right in the middle of negotiations.
Although it isn't set to head into production until early next year at the soonest, del Toro's planned haunted house flick has been catching some attention as of late for the director's talk about doing something in the genre with an old school feel that opens up the window for him to play with certain conventions, basically using your expectations against you in some respects. The plot has been kept pretty quiet as it undergoes some rewrites, but, if PACIFIC RIM turns out as incredible as I've been hearing, this is an actor-director collaboration I'm totally on-board with seeing again.
