Hey folks, Ambush Bug here with a free comic for those of you who are looking forward to the new BANSHEE original series. I’m liking what I’m seeing in previews for Cinemax’s upcoming original series BANSHEE. It feels a bit like JUSTIFIED, which I love, but different enough to make me want to tune in. The series stars Antony Starr as Lucas Hood, an ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, Pennsylvania, where he continues his criminal activities, even as he’s hunted by the shadowy gangsters he betrayed years earlier. There’s something about mixing backwards-thinking skinheads with psychotic Amish that seems like the right kind of wrong to me and makes me want to check out Alan Ball’s newest series when it premieres this Friday.

Cinemax is teaming up with IDW Publishing to release a comic book prequel BANSHEE: ORIGINS by Jonathan Tropper, David Schickler & Mike Henderson and you can download it for FREE by clicking here or here!
