Greetings, all. Ambush Bug here with some bits of news that can’t wait til Friday’s column. So let’s get right to it!

First I want to remind folks about our A CADAVER CHRISTMAS Contest. All you have to do is tell me something naughty you’ve done this year and you may be one of 5 lucky winners of this cool little indie horror comedy. Send your name, full address and a 100 word answer by clicking on this link and you may be receiving a copy of A CADAVER CHRISTMAS in your stocking this year! The film is available on Video on Demand and DVD now and will be playing choice venues like like these on December 26th in L.A., Austin, the Atlanta area, and Miami. Good luck!

I had a chance to check out SATURDAY MORNING MASSACRE a while back and loved the hell out of it. Here’s my review of the film. The film has now been picked up to by XLrator and will finally be able to be seen by all on VOD on February 7, 2013 and on DVD on March 12, 2013. The film stars Josephine Decker, Paul Gordon, Jonny Mars, Ashley Spillers and Adam Tate and directed by Spencer Parsons. I thought it was a hell of a fun ride and I’ll be reminding folks about it in February closer to the release. Meanwhile, here’s the trailer for the film.

Last Friday superhero reviewed the chilling thriller FROZEN and I just wanted to remind folks that it will be available on DVD today.

Here’s the official synopsis of the film; In this psychological thriller. Mike (Mitchell) and Emma (Morgan) take an ill-advised winter camping trip and get stranded in the woods after a snowmobile accident. When he disappears, she is left on her own not only to battle the elements, but elude a mysterious man (Segan) who has been tracking her through the forest.

And the trailer.

I can’t say enough good things about THALE. I reviewed the film here and as you can read on the poster, I found it to be a unique and amazing film. Now it’s going to be available on Video On Demand on March 21, 2013 and in theaters on April 5, 2013.

Here’s the official synopsis: Two crime-scene cleaners discover a mythical, tailed female creature in a concealed cellar. She never utters a word, unable to tell her story, but the pieces of the puzzle soon come together: she's been held captive for decades for reasons soon to surface.

Check out the trailer of THALE!
