Titan Books' And Aint It Cool's 12 Hours Of Christmas Begin NOW!! A Chance To Snag One Of 12 Awesome Books Over 12 Hours!!

Merrick here...

Our friends over at Titan Books have allotted a lovely, lovely assortment of amazing titles for this year's 12 Hours Of Christmas Giveaway.  This may, in fact, be their strongest line-up yet - befitting an extraordinary year or releases which brought us some of Titan's finest work ever.

I've not seen every one of these books, but I've looked through a great many many of them and found them to be unerringly interesting...if not downright extraordinary...with special affection heaped upon their ongoing FLASH GORDON comic collection, their downright amazing TARZAN CENTENNIAL, their JAWS: MEMORIES FROM MARTHA'S VINEYARD release, and their delightfully retro ALIEN: THE ILLUSTRATED STORY reissuance.  All the stuff of gooey Geekasm.

Other titles, like Olly Moss' SILHOUETTES FROM POPULAR CULTURE are extremely fun and clever diversions...and GREAT SHOWDOWNS is just plain cute.  There's so much great stuff here...and we'd like to thank Titan, most profoundly, for making this opportunity possible for our readers.

SO HOW DOES THIS WORK???  PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!

Between now (12 PM NOON CST USA) and midnight (12AM CST USA) tonight - December 18, 2012 - we'll be giving away one title per hour.

The time frame of each title is specified on each book's listing below.

In each of those one hour blocks (12 one hour blocks = 12 hours of total contest), one very specific time of day has already been pre-selected.

Whoevers e-mail arrives  at, or closest to, said pre-selected time of day will receive one (1)  copy of the title being offered during that hour.

PLEASE NOTE that all times listed are CST (aka CENTRAL) USA.  We will not be held accountable for any time zone conversion errors - there's a nifty global time zone converter device right HERE which should prevent any problems in this regard.

*** CONTEST IS OPEN TO INTERNATIONAL READERS ***

Only THREE (3) ENTRIES PER TITLE (PER HOUR).  Failure to abide by this limitation will result in summary disqualification from the entire contest.  This isn't meant to be douchey, but is instead  an effort to govern some very aggressive contest bots which have overrun previous contests.

YOU CAN ONLY WIN ONE (1) BOOK DURING THIS CONTEST - although you can make a run at obtaining as many as you want (again, only three entries per individual per hour).   However, if you happen to win more than once, you'll receive ONLY the earliest title you won.

*** Please place the title of the book of the hour in your subject line!  ***

Each of these titles is also currently available in bookstores or via Amazon - clicking their cover will tell you more about them.

SEND YOUR CONTEST ENTRIES HERE ONLY!!  IF YOU SEND 'EM TO MY PERSONAL AICN ADDRESS, THEY'LL BE SCRAPPED!!

With that...HAVE AT IT and ENJOY!  Wishing you the very best of Holidays...
