Herc’s Friday TV Talkback!!
Fox says of “The Human Kind”:
Olivia encounters a very intuitive and oracle-like person named Simone (guest star Jill Scott) as she looks to recover a key piece of equipment for Walter. Meanwhile, Peter finds himself in a perilous situation as he observes Windmark (guest star Michael Kopsa).
Titles for five of the final six hours of “Fringe:
12/7: “The Human Kind”
12/14: “Black Blotter”
12/21: “Anomaly XB-6783”
1/11: Unknown
1/18: “Liberty”
1/18: “An Enemy Of Fate”
If Leonard Nimoy isn’t back by January as William Bell (likely with a Nina Sharp-style bionic hand), I’m going to be plenty sore.
Premiering tonight:
Pretty Bad Girls (9pm ID)
Restless (9pm Sundance)

I thought to myself "Isn't that every night on Leno?"

Herc - Sorry to disapoint, but I read an interview at the 100th episode celebration of Fringe that lead me to believe that Bell won't be back, but that his symbolic persence is strongly felt.

I could have read into it wrong though.

Fringe Showrunner J.H. Wyman Talks About the Final Episodes http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/12/05/fringe-showrunner-jh-wyman-talks-about-the-final-episodes IGN: We’ve seen William Bells’s hand this season. Might we see any more of him? Wyman: You know, I’m not going to lie. You don’t see him anymore. He’s been such an iconic part of the program, but the secrets and elements that he was involved in are now on the wane. Now it’s about keeping everybody alive and trying to get there. But his legacy lives on, and what he stands for lives on in a very big way -- and his influence on Walter.

Thanks for the linky. I think the cast loves this show as much as the fans and after reading that article I'm really jazzed for the rest of the series. I have a feeling the Peter/Windmark fight is going to be badass....I just hope they didn't give away the best parts of it.
-
5 more Fridays/6 more episodes (finale is 2 episodes. There were some cast photos of the 100th episode event that I couldn't find again that had the actor who plays Lincoln Lee in them so I hope that he's back!
-
Katy needs to show more skin, though.

Wow, an unexpected "Longmire" shout out. Long live Ferg!!!

Shirley Manson is the best, but yeah Leno is Garbage, fun to see how Kimmel does at 11:35. If no Nemoy on fringe, how about Zachary Quinto? William Bell younger earth 2, George Takaie still works, always game for George on another show, Arrow should cast him as one of the gang with that white haired lady
-
Quinto as young William Bell is a FANTASTIC idea. Who is your choice for the role of young Walter Bishop? 'the Young Adventures of Belly and Wally'
-
kinda freaked out listening to the casts real accents, tuned out bishop and torv were aussie.
-
Starring Olivia
-
Fringe was riveting and really moving. The last act was one of the best of the series. Very well done.
-
they're calling episode 11 THE BOY MUST LIVE
-
Wow jay your obsession with Bill and Herc is really odd and sick. I can't tell if you are doing it for fun or trolling or it's just a sickness. It would be one thing if you obsessed with other tv shows and entertainers (that's what Billie by the way is.. Just like bill mAher is, btw.. Not a news reporter in any way).. But it's bill o and rachell again and again. Honestly are you being paid from bill o or are you sleeping with him or his agent? It's funny and sad at the same time... And then you come back here again and again for the abuse and people ignoring you, sad..sad.
-
you are either a masochist, or you really truly believe in all the fuckin' shit you spew that you feel compelled to defend it. why else would you constantly pick fights with talk backers, even herc won't swallow your shit. he must've blacklisted your account seeing you have a new screen name
-
Other than the tree episode and the first half of the "Etta dies" episode, what a great season. Not going to lie, the sap in me was thrilled that Peter pulled the tech. That last scene was as good as a Olivia/Peter moment as any. Welcome back, badass Olivia. That magnet looks big enough to power a big....Machine. ;) Still no idea where this season is going and only 5 episodes left. Should be a great ride.
-
I am on the season finale for season 4 in Fringe ... love it! Can't wait for season 5. It's streaming for free part of my Amazon Prime account.
-
I will be purchasing from iTunes and watching tonight with a beer. Was it good? When my daughter is old enough, I'm going to let her watch Fringe from start to finish - she already wants to be a scientist (and an inventor, photographer and baker... oh and an astronaut, and ice skate at the Olympics,), so hopefully this will provide some incentive. Raiders of the Lost Ark didn't work. :-(
-
On one hand I'm glad Peter made the choice he did. On the other I really wish he'd kept that implant in and spent the rest of the series trying to plot the correct time line that would have seen the old man dead. While at the same time, the old man was doing the same thing to him.
-
I decided to pop in here to see if some Fringe talk was possibly going on. I did so reluctantly because I know there are maybe 20 people on this site with good taste, the rest of the talkbackers are asshole and 4chan rejects. Of course when I get here I find exactly what I thought I would find, a thread with maybe 20 Fringe posts. If the thread was about how bad the next Transformers was going to suck and how shitty Michael Bay is at anything? 5 million replies...great show like Fringe ending in 6 episodes? Crickets...go fuck yourselves.
-
Yeah its a great ride isn't it! Its one of those shows thats great the first viewing, but then even greater with multiple viewings.
-
Yeah that would have been neat, but I was guessing that Windmark was would have been 2 steps ahead of him anyways.
-
I was secretly hoping that they would play it that way, only at the very end show that Peter had planned all this out and had Windmark in a trap that he never saw coming and couldn't escape. Or for a real twist, Windmark IS peter...
-
like the muppet babies
-
...fucking terrible. In fact, I HATE the fact that I'm still watching one of the dullest shows on TV, with one of the most uncharismatic lead actresses in history and the cheesiest "let's talk about how I did LSD again ... hee! hee!" supporting actors working today. Its only saving grace is Joshua Jackson. And don't even get me started on the plot of this show... It started out as an X-Files-ish division that investigated "fringe" events, then got sucked into psychic happenings and otherdimensional typewriters, which led to the whole parallel dimension plotline, which dropped us into the middle of this utterly boring dystopian future. Gad, I really can't wait till this series wraps. Honestly, I'd quit watching now. But I've made it through every season since episode one. I'd kinda hate to miss seeing how everything wraps. (I only started watching Fringe because I was a Lost superfan.)
-
Night Court was fucking GOLD in the 80s. To this day, it remains my favorite sitcom of all time. Yet no one ever seems to mention it around here. Very strange.
-
I also get the feeling, that William Bell won't be returning per se. But his presence will be strongly felt, I believe.
-
Yeah in some ways while I love Nemoy I wish they would have gotten a less visible and younger actor to play Bell so that they could have used the character more. I didn't want him in every episode, but when they weren't able to have him in the two flashback episodes and already put him over on the other side which didn't seem to work out timeline wise theres something wrong with that.
-
As good as Torv looks, she is so smoking hot with the red hair and bangs
