Viewers felt okay about watching "The X Factor" on Thanksgiving, but far fewer decided to stick around for "Glee," which I'm guessing hit an all-time personal low:

I think it has been better because it is the final season, but NBC might want to keep it going because it is the only show really getting any ratings for them. I really enjoy 30 rock and parks too bad ratings are low. Is up all night still on? or is it not good enough for a preview? I thought Up All Night was a little boring but really like the cast of the show, needs a goofball comic relief type character like Dwight or something. Anyway they should keep the office going with a new cast like SNL or Doctor Who, maybe cast Bill hader or other snl types

It may be cancelled but it's still on!!

Finally got a good Office 2 weeks ago. Hopefully it can start bringing the quality
by Uncle Pooky

The high school stuff just isn't working. The new characters are pale imitations of those they are replacing. Characters who graduated are shoehorned back into the high school story because they don't know what to do with them. That superhero theme last week would have been great in the first couple of season but it just seemed tired and forced. The New York storyline works because it's a progression, the natural evolution of the story and characters. The high school story came to its natural conclusion last season; this year it comes across as a step backwards. There's no life in those episodes, just a handful of characters they aren't sure what to do with spinning their wheels. Besides, more time spent in New York might mean more scenes with Kate Hudson stretching, which has been a nice bonus.
-
That means the CW will keep it for at least five seasons.

The Office WITHOUT Steve Carell >>> The Office WITH Steve Carell
by gruntybear
Now, instead of every wacky meeting, impromptu holiday being instigated by fucked-in-the-head Michael Scott, those wacky meetings / impromptu holidays can originate with any character in the bunch. Also, loved the addition of the new interns.
-
Dropped it after two episodes this year. The changes made it seem to me like a completely different show. I liked that it was half a couple comedy, and half a work-place comedy. But they dropped the work-place and replaced the wacko assistant with the wacky brother. As much as I like the 3 leads, I no longer enjoyed the show. And now they're changing it again into a multi-camera, filmed-before-a-live-studio-audience, laugh-track-sweetened show.
-
tv addict here love to read about it, I totally forgot Liz Lemon's boy toy was Cyclopes. Will he be back for DOFP?
-
All of these shows patiently wait beside my toilet for the morning following corn-on-the-cob night so that they can eat the partially digested corn kernels out of my shit.
-
thats the question we all want to know, also lets get a shore talkback woo woo
-
I doubt he'll be in DOFP since he died in the third movie.

Jay, what does it feel like to hate yourself that much?
by Robert Meeker
I'm just curious. I mean, really. No one cares.
-
Only to have to resign in shame when discovered fucking a goat wearing a Rachel Maddow mask. To clarify - the goat is the one wearing the mask. Jay is only wearing a grin and the pantyhose he stole from grave robbing his grandmother's corpse.

cinemapsycho- i dont hate myself. why do u think such a thing?
by jay2517
and why do AICN progressives, such as urself, project so? *I mean, really. No one cares.*--- about what? that u project or that the dullard maddow is irrelevant? to the latter, Herc does.
-
yay!!!!!! i mean i know its canceled but i didnt think they had filmed more episodes they could still air! also while gruntybear is probably trolling, if hes not how many illicit drugs do you think hes on? id say at least 5

^metroid_fetish- speaking of progressive (AICN or otherwise) projection...i rest my case.^
by jay2517
i wish i could say this type of progressive shit is isolated....but, sadly, its not :(

Gays should be able to marry bongs. Religion should be abolished from this country. Rape is icky and I prefer to give them money afterwards. You know, I'm a typical liberal after all. But sir, I take offense to your suggestion that I would partake in animal cruelty. I do not make animals wear masks while I make love to them.
-
...but, i actually believe ur headline...and thats sad. BTW- im sure ur dog/cat/goat(?) appreciates it :)
-
Goddamn. I'm so worked up now I might not be able to perform later. My poor pets.
-
and no one is writing a thesis, dipshit. BTW- ur pets are thanking me :)
-
I have eight. The government grafted them on in exchange for my vote. I ejaculate foodstamps.
-
i bet ur a real hit in the government cheese line :)
-
Also love Ellie Kemper on The Office.
-
I like POI, but what the hell was that? Better suited for Valentine's Day.
-
I actually really enjoyed seeing Carter and Fusco getting dates and also Finche's courtship, but yeah I was kind of scratching my head about the couple that were trying to killl each other because of misunderstandings. Still great though.
-
Suck it!!!
-
It is a shame to see it go. That baby still has the legs...especially with the new interns. It is too bad that the ratings have never been great for the show. Also, sergeantstedenko: Obama sucks. So, we have four more years of SUCK.
-
SUCK THE GOVERNMENT CHEESE FROM UNDER THE FORESKINS OF MY SEVEN OF EIGHT COCKS! The one I was born with was circumcised. You can suck it too, but you're not getting any cheese from it.

Wow, Vampire Diaries actually beat most of NBC in 18-49 ratings.
by CCon99
I'd hate to work at NBC today, you know they aren't going to be happy at all about getting beaten by the fledgling CW network, on the night that they once made iconic. Even The Office only scored 4 ticks higher. P&R is just bleeding those lead in viewers away. They really need to come up with a new Thursday formula. Stale comedies are stale. Vampire Diaries: 1.5 30 Rock: 1.3 Up All Night: 1.2 The Office: 1.9 Parks & Rec: 1.4 Rock Center: 0.9
-
After the landslide that Obama rode in ... 2 electoratal college and popular vote wins despite hundreds of millions of dollars spent to paint Obama as a crazy socialist Kenyan Muslim ... 4 more years indeed. Sit back and relax, you'll see - Obama will get things done and our country can finally get a going into the 21st century even though people like yourself are completely cut off from reality and the truth.
-
He had fewer votes then his previous eletion and barely sqeaked by to be voted in. THis election was not a mandate on anything. And theres a number of reasons. One is that Obama spread lies via media ads while Romney was busy fighting Gingrich, Santorum, etc in the primarys. Also we had another Bush Sr, Perot, Clinton situation where Gary Johnson took away votes from Romney which helped Obama. Plus a number of factors. I liked Romney and think that he would have been far better then the trainwreak that is Obama, but theres a lot of things that he could have done better. It should have been a slam dunk against Obamas failed record, but because of a number of reasons it wasn't. I just hope that the RNC can figure it out by the next election and its not the silly notion of them becoming more like the Democrats, thats stupid talk. Our country has survived a lot, I just hope that we can get someone in to fix things after Obamas done with it.
-
Half of the nation voted AGAINST Barack Obama! He received nearly 10 MILLION fewer votes than four years ago! The man didn't win in a "landslide." He won a slight majority with small victories in many battleground states. Any other "interpretation" is merely propaganda.

Obama is the most corrupt politician in the White House...
by Chris Moody
...since Watergate. He is also the most unqualified man ever to serve in the office! Without David Axelrod programming that teleprompter, Obama is only good for about two holes of golf on the public dime. He is the BULLSHITTER-IN-CHIEF but beloved by propagandists in the media.
-
Come to the party that actually cares about people like you. It's a big tent. All are welcome. The GOP is obsolete and will be extinct by the end of the decade.
-
Most unqualified man to ever be President? Do you honestly for one second believe that? Even a cursory glance at a history book would tell you otherwise. If Repubs and Baggers want to make breakthrough, it's going to be by holding onto realities and not saying stupid shit like that.. All that does is make people question their sanity. Want a chance to win elections? Present a realistic side to your case.
-
Dennis Duffy and Dr. Spaceman? Black Dennis? Christ, that was good.
-
And call it "Half a Man"
-
gary johnson only got 1 million votes (roughly 1%), where romney lost by 3 million, and i doubt most of the 1 million votes came from swing states. also a good amount of his votes took away votes from obama as well (such as mine) and a lot of his votes probably came from people who would rather not vote than vote for either of the 2 major parties, or always vote libertarian. also jill stein got 400k votes, all of whom most certainly would of gone to obama otherwise. ross perot received 19% of the vote. to compare ross perot to gary johnson is laughable. also romney lied way more than obama. i know you guys hate fact checking sites because they disprove ur agenda but its the truth.

by Metroid_Fetish
I don't mind.

Keep believing your propaganda, fool. You will be in for a RUDE AWAKENING in two years. Obama will continue making a mess of this nation...and the Republicans will take over the Senate in the mid-term elections (there are 33 Senate seats up for grabs...but just 11 are Republicans...and all 11 are safe). However, I am happy that you live in your delusion. Keep it up!
-
most corrupt President? After Bush? Explain that or STFU. And Romney was the worst Presidential candidate in at least my lifetime.
-
Romney was so damn two faced, and out of touch with midde america it was a damn shame and this is who the republicans chose to represent the party. Someone who's so amazingly wealthy and doesnt need to be president, wants to run the country and for what to get rich again! because that's what he said and I quote. "We need to get to washington, because that's where the money is?" Wow we have an economy that is faultering and americans out of jobs and yet this rich white asshole is gonna help americans regain their homes, rebuild america? You really think that? you must be on crack! How can you trust a man who has offshore accounts in the millions and doesnt pay taxes and is shady as fuck! YOU CANT IT WONT WORK!

I was highly disgusted at two and a half men last night...
by Norman Colson
I was not laughing at the end. i felt disgusted his main chick lindsey was begging alan to commit and marry her, he does, and the second ex wife shows up she tries to get alan to sleep with her and yet he doesnt because he loves lindsey. and the ex goes over to lindsey's house to claim nothing happened cut to the end where they show lindsey in bed with the female ex saying alan cant know about this. WTF? that's not funny, that's fucked up. can the dude just win. I mean they write his character to have eternal bad luck? WTF. it's getting tiresome. cant the underdog win sometimes. I hope in the series finale Walden gives him 100 mil, he drops lindsey, beats the shit outta his moms and smack the shit outta his stupid son and moves to france.

On the subject of Thursday's Person of Interest...........................
by axcel1
As someone on the show once said, "They can't all be mafia dons and babies." I enjoyed the main storyline and the 3 subplots, (the flashback, the Fusco date, and the start of Carter's date.) They have not made a bad episode yet.
-
Bush had it right eight years ago (and I hate Bush). Winning a hard fought long Presidential race gives you a mandate. The third president of the United States - uh Thomas Jefferson (if you don't know), won with a slight majority of votes, and no Electoral Majority. It went to the House of Rep. to decide the outcome of the election. TJ still boldly declared a REVOLUTION of 1800, after a historically small victory. And proceeded to do the Louisiana Purchase. The closest thing to a royal act of Presidency in history -- and arguably unconstitutional. Also created the "pocket VETO" to override Congress. Bottom line, Obama has a mandate. TJ (a founding father) created the Presidential mandate, he has to uphold it.
