...economic term "Black Friday." It's an ugly phrase for the holidays. Many think that it actually refers to the insanity of the shopping day, as opposed to "red ink/black ink" financials.

huge Fringe fan but I'm not digging this final season of Fringe
by Titus05
the whole Observor future storyline is not as cool as it looked in 'Letters of Transit'...might have been better off leaving it as a 1 episode flash forward episode...I miss the standalone monster of the week episodes...Peter turning into an Observor is dull...I guess Fringe is another show that will not be able to stick the landing...joining other famous mythology shows like LOST, X-Files etc hopefully Breaking Bad will be able to nail the ending

Fringe seems to throw everything against a wall and see what sticks
by tangcameo
Then they take one of those sticky things in one season and turn it into an entire next season. I fear there are going to a high number of loose threads in this final season. The best that I hope for is that Donald is someone from previous seasons, hopefully Agent Lee, having come back from the alternate universe and found an Observer invasion on this side.

can u imagine that hate filled bigot during the holidays? im surprised no one has drilled that pompous liar right in his grill....though, im sure the shows numerous hiatuses is plenty of time to heal.

They're showing a marathon of season one on the Science channel. There's that episode where Peter's old lady friend calls him and tells him he'd better get out of Boston forever because criminals are mad at him or something. Did they ever pick up that plot thread?
-
What is wrong with the term. I knew what it meant obviously you do. Whats wrong with having a day where stores make enough money to effectively balance their accounts.

Titus: Fringe already 'stuck the landing', it was the season 4 finale
by Rebel Scumb
this season is just a victory lap, so whether its good or not doesn't effect the ending. I think of it sort of like the ST:TNG movies. The ending is the TV show finale, the movies are just something that happens after it, some people like them, some don't. I do think Fringe season 5 has been so-so, but they proofed themselves against a dissappointing finale by wrapping up everything last year so successfully at least thats how I see it
-
that's a good description of their approach.
-
Nothing else I'm interested in watching tonight.

Wonder how the new Dallas will handle Hagman's passing
by Truxton Spangler
I didn't watch more than a couple episodes, but part of what kept the new one from being a typical joke or a sequel was making some of the original cast members part of the new show. I think the ratings were good enough to warrant a renewal, so now they'll have to deal with JR's absence.
-
with a shower scene showing JR was really Neal Patrick Harris all along

I hope they totally rewrite the Dallas plotline because of Hagman's passing
by tangcameo
To acknlowedge the actor's passing by having JR pass away off screen (probably in his sleep the lucky SOB, having survived bullets, bombs, crazy hicks with guns, and The Devil himself), and have that be the "we've got to go back!" of the new Dallas. Then have massive plot-changing bombshells with the reading of JRs will; unknown offspring, unfair and suprising inheritances, revenge by JR from the great beyond, mysterious safety deposit box key, etc.
-
I was digging the new show and he was getting the best reviews of his career actually... I smelled an Emmy on the way... I like your thinking, Tang, it will have to reverberate over the rest of this new season- he filmed five episodes before passing. I too like the idea that after all those attempts on his life, he drops dead of heart attack... WIth brother Gary coming in, it should and hopefully will be interesting. Now Josh Henderson as John Ross will have to step up and be a real prick... live up to the legacy if you will... Ironic, he did the same as his tv dad Jim Davis did on the original series. THAT death was well concieved as it reverberated and had all kinds of consequences.
-
And by the way, there's no p in season. Merry Christmas!

when do the papps start taking upskirt pics?
