Herc’s Thankgiving TV Talkback!! STAR TREK, 007, GODFATHER, LIGHTS, FRIENDS, AMISH & HATFIELDS Marathons!! More!!
Yesterday was the last day of sweeps, and everything in network primetime is repeats except for football, “Glee” and “The X Factor,” but there are also loads of marathons. A few highlights:
STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION (BBC America; Noon Thanksgiving - 6am Black Friday) This marathon features only season seven episodes.
007 (Syfy; 12:01 am Thanksgivng - 5:30am Saturday) This one takes us from “Dr. No” to “Quantum of Solace.”
FRIENDS (TBS; 11am-6pm)
HATFIELDS & MCCOYS (History; 6pm Thanksgiving - 4am Black Friday)
BREAKING AMISH (TLC; Thanksgiving 11am-9pm.
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS (ESPN Classic; Thanksgiving 1pm-8pm)

ABC gave “Last Resort” the boot last week after Shawn Ryan’s submarine drama hit yet another all-time low, losing again to NBC’s “Up All Night” and The CW’s “Vampire Diaries.”
“Glee” tumbled last week to its lowest number in quite some time.
“Big Bang Theory” and “Two and a Half Men,” conversely, both hit season highs.

i only have ST best of sets and the OS. so season 7 is fine. i would also see the 007 series but syfy when it comes to movies, seems to have too many commercials and they always break to them at crappy times throughout the movies, so no. But like Herc, i have ten zillion movies and tv series to choose from so i don't think i'll be starved for entertainment this weekend.

I am thankful for Harry Knowles and the staff at Ain't It Cool News for allowing me the freedom to post my incessant rambling. I am very thankful for all the talkbackers, friends, foes, haters, lurkers, plants, noobs and trolls. You all are the beating and bleeding heart of this place. Finally, extra special thanks to Hercules the Strong (lips meet ass) and his many contributions to this site including the Hercvault and the Popular Price Pantry without which I wouldn't have purchased the Alien blu set for $19.99 or something like Land of the Lost: The Complete Series for the lowest price EVER!! Whatever it was. That's all great, but most of all I am thankful for his HERCULES ON THE RADIO column. Broadcasting live every Saturday night on the ASK MR.KERN show.
