TODAY IS LAST DAY OF SWEEPS!! New SURVIVOR, CHALLENGE, MINDS, CSI, SVU, AHS, X FACTOR And More!!
CBS bills idol-toting Abi-Maria as “the most annoying castaway ever,” but have they already forgotten about chubby gay rich kid Colton Cumbie?
Last week Abi, Pete, Artis and Lisa voted for Penner.
Artis went home, though, with votes from Malcolm, Denise, Carter, Skupin and Penner.
My money’s on Pete joining the jury tonight.

Absolutely A+ show tonight for Survivor. It had pretty much everything with a pretty clear delineation of the two sides, what was at stake, and who the swing vote was. And a complete tearing down of Abi that was on the one hand nice to see finally get out in the open, but on the other actually feeling bad for her because she truly doesn't understand what she's doing wrong. And how about Malcolm with the balls of stone to hold the idol knowing it was more than likely only a little bit better than a coinflip that Skupin would stay true to the new alliance. He was either going to come out looking great, or be ragged on for being blindsided holding the idol. There really wasn't much inbetween. I'm really not sure about Skupin this year. He really is just too flaky of a player to really root for. Both Penner and Carter had really better watch out, if the final 4 alliance stays true, whichever doesn't win immunity next week is probably going home. Malcolm is simply too smart a player not to go after one of them and break the pair, preferably Penner going home. Its very much looking like Malcolm is the player to beat this season.

Fuck Chevy. He's not necessary to Community, and I'm hoping the writers stuck it to him during the 4th season episodes

Skupin could have controlled the game by voting off Malcolm
by mypalfish
Just a brain dead move to take out Pete. Get rid of Malcolm and then the odd, muscular, atheist sex therapist that everyone likes and nobody pays enough attention to. Those two are the biggest threats to win the game, imo. All Skupin had to do was get rid of Malcolm first, then go to Denise, and go to the final with people he could have beaten. To leave a guy in the game who has an idol just makes zero sense.

And I felt bad for Abi..as the season has progressed she has gotten hotter and hotter looking to me though. She lost weight and is looking pretty tight, too bad about that mouth though.

Thinking on it... I think the Edit actually jumbled things up.

Malcolm proposes Final Four when he gets back. Pete scrambles, ends up connecting with Skupin... who really does want to shake up the game. Skupin and Lisa see it can go either Malcolm or Pete for who is going home, but if they take out Malcolm... they need a guarantee from Penner for Final 3 to protect their flank so that its Lisa/Skupin/Penner/Carter with the voting block. If they don't have the numbers, taking out Malcolm just brings blowback. Penner then commits the colossal blunder of the season when they show up and he blows them off from committing to them and gives no guarantees he'll vote with them. He figures its not him this week, so why worry? Huge mistake. For just a second he took his foot off the gas and it'll probably be a million dollar mistake. The Edit sort of played down exactly how badly he screwed up this week, but judging from the preview I think he realizes it after they get back and he sees the new alliance. They then seal the deal with Malcolm and Denise shortly before FTC with the backyard blood oath and hope and pray Malcolm loses at the final 4. This is why Malcolm felt safe sitting on his idol. If the alliance holds strong, next week it should be Penner if he doesn't win immunity and Abi if he does.

He got Abi when they decided who was voting for who. Even if he had voted Malcolm, it would have come out 3-3 (2 for Abi), and in the re-vote the group would have voted out Pete anyway. The result would be the same except that his alliance would know he'd flipped, making him next week's Plan-B (in case Abi wins immunity). The only two people who could have blindsided Malcolm were Carter & Penner. Carter's just happy to go with the flow, and Penner proved that he's looking forward to a few days of relaxing and not having to play hard. Everyone knows they'll have to jockey for position within the alliance after Abi is gone. But no one seems too keen on rocking the boat beforehand lest it makes them a target. In other words, no one wants to stand out as the obvious choice after Abi.

The first series was kind of a guilty pleasure, this series is just nuts and the cast are all amazing. It takes ridiculousness and turns it into horror somehow. A Nazi doctor teaming up with a possessed nun while a serial killer who cuts off women's faces frames for his crimes a guy who was abducted by aliens?! How is possible to not enjoy that show? Not to mention the TB zombies or the creepy kid, or the fact that that the killer is seemingly immortal... I love the editing, the direction, the music. It's just brilliant

Last week they didn't need her vote to win, so she could show she had loyalty to Tandang. It was Abi's comment that she wasn't trusted at that Tribal that allowed her to break away. This week, they came to Penner and asked him to make a final 3 deal. If he had said yes and he was behind them, they would have taken out Malcolm. Instead, he was nonchalant and only concerned about picking off Abi and Pete and lost sight of the bigger picture that you must stay in the numbers to really be safe. Now he's on the outs and pretty much has to keep winning immunity to stay in. The moment he doesn't, he's gone unless he can break that alliance.. and they seem pretty tight. Right now, as long as they stay together its going to be a pretty solid burn-down through of Abi, Penner, and Carter... the only variable being who wins immunity dictating who goes home first. Then it'll come down to Final Immunity Challenge. If Malcolm wins, he wins the million. If he loses, he'll be kicked and more than likely either Denise or Carter(whoever managed to make the final spot depending on immunity), will win the million. If Penner pulls a miracle and runs the table of Immunities, he'll win so long as Malcolm isn't there. But right now, this game is Malcolm's to lose. He's pretty much the heavy favorite at this point and really just needs to steer the ship staight and win that final 4 immunity to skate with the money. Both Mike and Lisa have way too much blood on their hands. Mike isn't respected by Tandang, he was the key vote that broke them and got Artes out... and you can bet your last dollar Lisa's history will come up at Final Tribal Council.
