Updated: Did you check out LAWLESS? If so, I've got a prize back you might dig.
UPDATE: So the lucky winner is Josh R. who had this to say about the film:
I regret being cautiously hesitant of Lawless at first. This was not due to anything to do with the movie mind you, I’ve always dug Nick Cave and I think he is an excellent screenwriter and his precious work with Hillcoat in The Proposition was excellent. But rather I was hesitant due to being consistently let down by every movie I had been anxiously awaiting this summer. Dark Knight Rises was good, but I felt it didn’t live up to the legacy established in The Dark Knight, I thought Prometheus just plain sucked, The Avengers was good, but I thought the 3rd act fell on its face… I could go on and on. I think in large this was the most overhyped summer for the cinema in a decade, but I digress.
Lawless was the one saving grace for me this summer. The flick was perfectly cast, I can’t stand Shia Labouf but his overly dramatic role in the flick was a perfect fit. The aesthetics were amazing, I don’t think a movie has more perfectly captured the feeling of desperation of the time through little more than it’s coloring and set pieces since Oh Brother Where Art Thou. The cinematography was epic, from the wide sweeping shots of the mountains with the “Christmas light” like stills burning, to the dark and dimly lit street corner where the attempted mugging takes place, honestly I could just go on and on.
I like Josh's brutal honesty and it seems like he really did dig the film, so congrats to you Josh!
Hello ladies and gentlemen, Muldoon here popping his head out of the jungle (lunch break) to bring you a nifty little prize pack from the folks over at Anchor Bay and The Weinstein Company. A few months back there was a slightly awesome movie from John Hillcoat by the name of LAWLESS starring Shia LeBouf, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, and Guy Pearce. (Check out Capone's take HERE and The Kidd's HERE). As you might already be aware, the film hits DVD/Blu-ray on November 27th and as a result of that, we've got a cool bit of swag to give out to one lucky winner.

"So Muldoon, what's included in this prize pack you speak of?" - Awesome Random AICN Reader
- A copy of LAWLESS on Blu-ray- A copy of the LAWLESS Original Motion Picture Soundtrack with music by Nick Cave
- A copy of the novel LAWLESS by Matt Bondurant.
So how can you get in on this? Shoot me an email with "Moonshine for Me" as the subject line, include your name, and a tiny paragraph about what you dug most about the film by 6:00PM Central Standard Time and I'll update this little article with the winner's thoughts. (Though I'll send a separate email to the winner to get his/her shipping address) Good luck to everyone!

I gave a pretty good response about a movie that legitimately meant quite a bit to me, and Muldoon gives it to the guy who bitches about TDKR, The Avengers and Prometheus the most. Go AICN.
