Learn Your Alphabet With THE ABCs OF DEATH Red Band Trailer!!

26 directors... 26 shorts... and plenty of blood and guts to go around.
That's about THE ABCs OF DEATH in a nutshell, the latest horror anthology which features shorts of all kinds showcasing the numerous ways to die as represented by a letter of the alphabet.
Yahoo! debuted the new red band trailer for the film, and, while there's not much to take away from these individual shorts as far as their stories go, there is enough splatter contained to whet your appetite as to what some of the sick minds involved in the film may have in store for us at the beginning of next year.
Is that an electric carving knife?

As usual for a low-budget, amateur affair the acting is horrible, the direction erratic and the gore pretty poorly executed (just lots of shots looking up with some "FX" guy squirts fake blood). Looks like taken as a whole, this would be an endurance test to sit through.

There was an entire contest for amateur filmmakers to make an entry for "T". I myself made a short film for the contest and did pretty well. "T is for Toilet" won, and therefore won a place in the finished film. So that's what makes him a "filmmaker", though he certainly isn't on par with the others (when you think of who fits the term, I mean).

In what way does anything in that trailer suggest anything like a "Faces of Death for the American Idol generation" or whatever the fuck bollocks it was that you just mouthed out of you? Maybe you want to have a wee bit of knowledge about what you're talking about before you go FACTing about the place, for it's fuckin embarrassing sometimes. Same goes for whoever compared it to 100 Ways to Die. It's an anthology horror film. It has nothing to do with late period mondo films like Faces of Death or docudrama telly shows about actual people. It's a film with a claymation toilet that rips someone's face off, for Christ sake. Next level arseholery, swear to God.

...Dogfight played before the opening night screening of V/H/S. I was disturbed. I'm not sure how that one could have been shot without the dog actually being punched. I figure I HAVE to be wrong, and I came home and googled the hell out of it to try and read about how it was made, but found nothing. That was enough to turn me off to this, at least until I get some kind of confirmation that the animal wasn't actually harmed.
