When Ambush bug was talking about Black Kiss #4 and it got real quiet, all I could think of was that Bug was about to be shunned by the other three people people on the podcast. Not saying he maybe didn't deserve it for that crazy theory, but it was pretty funny how quiet it got as bug described his theory.

Cause let's just take this Meta-joke to Kafka level heights. If anything, it's almost like what Moore is doing to literary characters at that point. Only more honest and with less rape. (I will not forgive the Hermione rape. Emma Watson is off limits Alan.) Then again Grant Morrison is already kinda doing this in Multiversity. There has gotta be someone with a huge axe to grind at Moore who would want to knock it out the park just to piss the hell outta Moore. I hope DC is paying attention to this. Before Watchmen: Watchmen DO IT!

A lot of people still dig Howard Chaykin (myself included) and a lot of people have fond memories of the first Black Kiss (myself included). And by NO means do I come close to being a prude or have even the slightest interest in censoring ANY kind of art, but that particular sequence just seemed a bit out of nowhere and pretty much unnecessary.

For me it was DK2, which I still think is some kind of hideous inside joke that I'm just not getting. Absolutely AWFUL book. But everything up to 300 is pretty close to flawless, and that's A LOT of work.
