Cartman is hiding something in his bedroom that could change the outcome of the entire election. While Americans innocently plan to go to sleep Tuesday night with the election results counted and a winner announced, Cartman has secretly wrestled control of the presidential election from the voters.
Jonathan Penner got blindsided last week; only his hidden immunity idol deflected RC and her fabulous hinder onto the jury.

Other than Dick Morris, whoever thought Romney would win in a landslide?
by Monroville
Hell, a week or so ago when word started getting out how people were voting early and their Romney votes were coming out for Obama, even after re-voting 3 or 4 times I knew the fix was in. Combine that with the utter fiasco that is how military ballots are being handled (a plane with quite a few votes from the soldiers overseas crashed, burning their votes up with it) and the entire thing is a joke. My thing is: if things turn around and gas decreases in price and all that, fantastic! I'll shrug my shoulders and go with it. But if things go to shit, will Bush still get the blame?
-

Besides, I could have told you Obama would win by 1 to 5 % (more or less)
by Monroville
Considering all of the shit Obama's done or allowed to happen and he still has a overall 50% favorable rating told me that humans, much less Americans, are pretty fucking retarded. Or more to the point, perpetual teenagers. People don't want to be free so much as just free "enough", free to fuck and eat and enjoy life, but without the responsibility or consequences of things like bills or results. The Powers-That-Be have figured it out: you don't enslave people with "whips and chains" and forced labor; ANYone would fight against that. Instead, you enslave them with kindness. Or more to the point (in keeping with the TV stuff), you treat them like Cartman's mom and pamper them with the promise of eternal nurturing. In the end, short of doing something truly crazy (like appoint a horse to be senator like Caligula actually did), you can pretty much get away with anything.

But to get back on track, will SOUTH PARK be funnier than last week's abortion?
by Monroville
Did anyone see last week's episode? While I could appreciate what they were trying to do, with the Dr. Seuss stuff and all, it was obvious that they must have written that episode 3:00 am in the morning after a good bender or two.
-
They'll actually blame Obama, and at an unfathomable scale. Every American, fed up with the government, will come storming into the White House and the Capitol, pitchforks shotguns and torches in hand, blood in their eyes and ice in their veins, and they'll "burn this sucker down." It'll be exactly like 1812. I don't want that to happen monroville, but chances are it might as well happen. At that rate, I stopped watching South Park, it kinda got outdated for me.
-
Last weeks South Park was pretty shitty
-
The plane that crashed was bringing ballots TO the soldiers, not FROM the soldiers. The zip code where the damaged mail was from was notified and the ballots were resent. Also, the issues with electronic votes was limited to a handful of votes, just as it was limited to a handful yesterday that were seeing their Obama votes get changed to Romney. Everything else you said has no basis in reality so it doesn't even warrant rebuttal. It's hard to argue with fantasy.
-
Seriously have you ever taken a close look at their religion? It's even more hilarious and unbelievable then the one where A mad up god zombified his carpenter son or the one where a sand person had sex with donkeys and little boys Atheist president in 2016!

Best TV ever.

by Bricklyne
.....he's worried that it might set a bad precedent. I shit you not. High-fucking-larious!!!!!

Romney's run a smart classy campaign. These guys are laughing at their audience all the way to the banks.
-
The main plot behind the episode was predictable but they threw in enough to make it enjoyable nonetheless. This is one of those shows that is one great dialogue writer away from amazing. The actors are all capable, if generally underutilized, and the direction seems solid. I just wish there weren't so many groaners sprinkled throughout.
-
Demographics. If this was even 4 years ago, Romney would have been elected in a walk. The one thing this election absolutely showed is that its nearly impossible to elect an old white guy now. They simply don't have the cross-demographic appeal. Its not that Romney ran a bad campeign. He didn't. He slaughtered Obama in most demographics that used to matter(seniors, white people, etc). They just aren't enough to win anymore. It all comes down to that cross-demo appeal to get a wide section of people that don't normally vote in large numbers out to the polls and jack up your numbers. I'll say it again, I don't expect in my lifetime to see another monied presidential candidate from either party to be an old white guy. They might have one as a VP, but not as the presidential candidate. This election pretty much torched the idea of Christie as a viable candidate. He's simply too divisive to appeal across the spectrum of voters needed to win. On the flipside, Marco Rubio came front and center. 2016 is more than likely his if he wants it. But I guarantee you will see the Republican Establishment get behind either a female, black, or latino for the 2016 nomination.
-
The difference between Obama Win and Romney Win was less than 300K(Florida, Virginia, Ohio, and NH going the other way) votes out of almost 120 million cast. Thats less than .2% of the vote seperating a win from a loss.
-
Was a complete idiot. He gets handed the ability to blindside Malcolm and proves himself a Mustardmind as he not only tells him about it, but then BELIEVES Malcolm when he says he doesn't have the idol. If not for Penner brainfarting with the Abi vote, he might have been the one going home. He got lucky. Followed closely by Abi, who proved herself an even more complete douche by anouncing she had an HII for no reason whatsoever while making sure she let Malcolm know he wasn't really part of her crew. Kudos go to Lisa, who is starting to make some good moves(or at least is getting a favorable Edit), only to find out and come to the realization the rest of her alliance are complete morons at playing the game. Kudos also goes to Malcolm, who not only got outed but had the presence of mind to fake-play the HII to make sure people voted for someone else fearing he was playing it, and then bagged it. Lol @ Jeff Kent, who deserves the dropkicking he got. His mistake was he made it personal in getting out Penner. If that was his intention, he shouldn't have aligned with him. But once you make him part of your numbers, going after him means you go after your numbers. And when you lose the numbers, if you're a strong player you get gone.

South Park was good, but Colberts opening was the most awesome, hilarious thing on TV last night
by Mike2D
That is all.

Look around, the country ain't getting whiter ... time to modernize your views or face extinction. LOVE LOVE the fact that the shit head Allen West was voted out ... Hell, Bachmann sqeaked by with only 500 votes ... next time, she's gone - especially if she keeps up with her fucking bullshit. Can someone please get a pic of Scott Brown driving away in his truck? Go go Elizabeth Warren! ...and a big LOL at those who believed Obama was going to lose in a landslide - when in fact it was Obama who fucking rule the day. Once again, FACTS AND DATA ruin a Republican's day. Can we now address climate change ... another area of science and data being ignored by the right.
-
Gingrich and breitbart also picked a landslide for Romney. Fox just doesn't want to hear the truth - it's not that the electorate is stupid or lazy or anti-white or whatever other bullshit they'll make up to make themselves feel superior. It's that social issues matter and until the right wing distances themselves from the tea party and the religious extremists they will never win another national election. Sure they can get a senate seat in a place like Kentucky that is always republican but not nationally. You can't call yourself the party of Lincoln when you're running batshit crazy people like bachman or Murdock or Allen west or akin or Palin. Is it so hard to realize that those people are ruining your party?

I can see why Pete didn't change his vote - they'd planned on getting rid of Jeff and he probably didn't want to assume everyone else would also make the last minute change to get rid of Malcolm. Also, even if they did go after Malcolm, and he then played it, Pete might be the one stuck with the second most votes. He said he was feeling vulnerable. Penner's vote for Abi was strange. Maybe he thought everyone was voting for Pete (like they said) and those loyal to Pete's group might go after Malcolm (as was the plan earlier). If Malcolm played his idol, Pete would go home. But if Abi felt Pete was in danger and wanted to save him, she could have given him her idol. In that case the only vote that counts would be Penner's, sending Abi to the Jury. Had that happened it would have been awesome.

this has been a pretty lackluster season, last nights was their best in awhile. good timing too seeing as last nights key and peele and modern family were both subpar.

speaking of votes... the 44TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES was the clear victor in the 2012 election!!!
by Uncle Pooky
President Barack Obama: 60,786,973 popular votes (as of now) 303 Electoral College votes (as of now) Mitt Romney: 57,896,358 popular votes (as of now) 206 Electoral College votes (as of now) Anyone notice a pattern with certain members of the AICN talkback community being utterly INCORRECT when it came to predicting the results? Think the GOP needs to modernize its views or sell them better?
-
is he opened the whole can of worms by going to Malcolm over the idol. That was the Original Sin, and everything fell apart after that. Abi clearly didn't view Malcolm as part of their alliance. That he was gullible enough to believe Malcolm when Malcolm said he didn't have the idol was even stranger. Not to mention that the Stopped Clock Being Right Twice-a-day Abi was actually correct in her assessment of Lisa and he simply blew that off. His instincts in the game are absolutely horrible and his ability to read people is pathetic. Thats why he's the Mustardmind this year. The person who likes to think and act like they're the Mastermind, but really.. they're not. Lisa Whelchel is doing a lot better than i initially thought she would, especially after her initial meltdown earlier in the season. She's definately not playing the hanger-on like say.. Carter or Artes... and making logical moves needed to put herself in a good position to go deep, like doing what it took to save Skupin. And as much as what she did probably alienated Malcolm by not keeping the trust over the HII, Abi got in front of that train and not only laid bare how on the outs he and Denise are with the Tandang folks, but illustrated they have an idol that needs to be flushed. Right now he and Denise are the swing votes and while Lisa may pull in Penner, she has a lot of convincing to do to make sure they sever from Abi/Pete/Artes.
-
*Anyone notice a pattern with certain members of the AICN talkback community being utterly INCORRECT when it came to predicting the results?*--- i never predicted anything, u fucking nimrod. u REALLY cant get anything right, can u? speaking of which.....HOW(??) is the election in anyway comparable to television ratings? oh yea, they are not...

Deathstroke made an appearance on this weeks Arrow
by 2mules4sistersarah
in a flashback and looked pretty badass. Fight scene he was in was way better than anything in the DKR. Plus his outfit design was wayyyy better than Banes. Would like to see him again in this underappreciated series. Can him briefly in above promo for Arrow.
-
Best episode in a long time. Funny and entertaining as Hell.
-
There can be no question that this show is "influenced by" (polite way to say "ripping off) Nolan's trilogy, but the embarrassing thing about it is that even a derivative, 2nd rate tv effort has way better action direction and fight scenes than any one of those drab, pretentious films. Deathstroke was absolutely perfect, although it was a little odd to see him get beaten that easily by a malnourished castaway, but whatev's. And that final scene was pure comic book-to-screen perfection. With the exception of the China White episode, this show has had no misses as for as I'm concerned. Also, Kate Cassidy in tight jeans- best special effect ever.
