Wanna see HITCHCOCK with Director Sacha Gervasi this Thursday at Alamo South?
Hey folks, Harry here with this very exciting AICN screening here in Austin. We got the very interesting HITCHCOCK film by director Sacha Gervasi, from the director of the killer documentary, ANVIL: THE STORY OF ANVIL. I can't wait to see this film, it seems that Anthony Hopkins is having a blast in the role of Hitchcock, really playing with the director's macabre sense of humor. But mainly I'm dying to see Michael Wincott's Ed Gein. And I must admit a whild curiousity in Scarlett Johansson's Janet Leigh performance. There's a lot to reveal there.
Anyway - the Screening is Thursday, November 8th at 7:30pm at the Alamo Drafthouse South.

I'd rather see Daniel Day Lewis's comically bad Lincoln voice because at least it is real acting. Impersonations are the gutter level of entertainment.

The man's made a career out of wearing fake noses and playing cartoonish British characters (which is what Hitch was).

Lincoln had a high pitched voice. I saw Hitchcock over the weekend. Hopkins was great. The film i's more about his relationship with Alma than the making of Psycho but still worth seeing. They also did not use the Universal set which I found odd. The only time you see the Bates house is in the distant background and it's CGI.
