or a repeat? If new, what's NBC airing in its place tomorrow (my listings for Thursday show part 2 of the "Jenna controls the swing vote in Florida" story). If it's a repeat I won't bother fiddling with my recordings (Survivor & Arrow), but if it's new I'll need to make some adjustments.

It continues to be just as nuts as last year. Great cast, great setting, I'm loving it. Not many shows manage to cram in ghosts, demons, serial killers, aliens, robotic spider things, exorcisms and the lead singer of Maroon 5 getting his arm ripped off while having blowjob into 2 episodes. Can't believe Herc isn't into it, what with Tim Minear on writing duties now.

I know it's basically Batman-lite, but I like the ruthlessness with which he interrogates and dispatches the bad guys. I also like the mystery of "the list," that also has members of his family involved....and I'm REALLY surprised they've already unmasked him.

I was growing disappointed but tonight's episode put all the crap that was annoying me into perspective. The acting may be spotty (though the blonde IT girl is great) but the show appears to be tightening up and moving along nicely. That deadshot design last week though...never forget never forgive.

It should be interesting to see where the broken up boat in the warehouse story goes. I was also supprised at just how quickly Oliver was revealed and carted away to prison, but then I got to thinking, its a little too convinient that on the same episode that he gets revealed that his bodyguard becomes a partner in crime that since he's converted will most likely dress up as Green Arrow and appear to the daddy cop at the same time that Olivers in the room, thus tricking them into thinking that Oliver is not the Green Arrow. Its what they did on Smallville and and the animated series The Batman, along with other comics. They could supprise us, but I doubt it.

made me miss the end of "Nashville" (it's a Canadian thing - Fox & ABC show on the same channel). You'd think with 2 hosts they'd be doubly effective at keeping the show moving and on time. But no, I'm guessing it simply means twice as much time spent with inane and useless banter. It's also the channel's fault that, when the "live"show went long, they didn't compensate to squeeze the 40+ minutes of "Nashville" into the 55 minutes remaining in the hour.

He is out of sight and out of mind now. He is now a C list celebrity. Jimmy Fallon is now being groomed to take over The Tonight Show when Jay leaves. Think about that Herc. Jimmy Fallon is going to inherit The Tonight Show. How sad is that? Read the book "The War For Late Night" by Bill Carter. Read that book and your opinion of Conan will drop and your opinion of Leno will rise. Conan was so naive that he didn't even get timeslot protection written into his contract. He listened to all the wrong people, Gavin Polone being cheif among them. Jimmy Kimmel is a douchebag. He loved Jay Leno when it looked like he was going to jump ship to his network. At one point Kimmell was taking career advice from Leno! Read the book. Leno owns Letterman. He beat him out for the Tonight Show job. He beat him in the ratings, and when then he returned from his ten pm exile he started beating him again. Don"t get me wrong I like Letterman, but Letterman is to self-destructive to be given the big chair. Just look at his intern scandal. If half of what came out is to be believed than Letterman is everything people accuse Leno of being, creepy cold, weird and cruel. If Leno had an intern scandal AICN would never stop talking about it. Leno is the once and future king of late night. His legacy is assured and he will go down in history as one of if not the best host of The Tonight Show. Jimmy Fallon will not be able to match his numbers and will crash and burn just like Conan did. Not surprising considering that they are both Letterman acolytes.
