Comedy Central says of “A Scause for Applause”:

Rocked by the recent news of drug use by a beloved icon, the world is left feeling lost and betrayed. The boys, join with the rest of the nation, and remove their yellow wristbands. Everyone is on board, except for Stan, who just can’t seem to cut off his bracelet.

Is there a merge or a swap tonight? I just read Lisa Whelchel is divorcing her pastor husband of 24 years. How do you keep them down on the farm after they’ve starred on “Survivor”?

Premiering tonight:

The Real Exorcist (Lifetime)

ABC's extraterrestrial sitcom "The Neighbors" just got a full first-season order.

"Big Bang Theory," with a 5.0, edged out "Modern Family" for top sitcom two weeks in a row.

    The Neighbors

    by critts

Why do people watch this show? I really didn't thin it would last a month.

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 1:58 p.m. CST

    30 Rock on tonight?

    by jim

What time? My listings show Animal Practice/Guys with Kids, L&O:SVU, Chicago Fire

  • that they donated to Lance Armstrong's charity? They say they feel they've been "swindled". It's not like they were sponsoring him in his races - they were donating to a cancer charity. So, what, now that they are disappointed in him personally they have become pro-cancer?

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 2:51 p.m. CST

She got divorced before going on Survivor, actually.

    by Mahaloth

It was part of her healing process to go on the show.

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 3:13 p.m. CST

    30 Rock

    by Hercules

8pm Animal Practice is gone for good.

  • or a repeat? If new, what's NBC airing in its place tomorrow (my listings for Thursday show part 2 of the "Jenna controls the swing vote in Florida" story). If it's a repeat I won't bother fiddling with my recordings (Survivor & Arrow), but if it's new I'll need to make some adjustments.

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 3:33 p.m. CST

    American Horror Story

    by theGoldbergV

It continues to be just as nuts as last year. Great cast, great setting, I'm loving it. Not many shows manage to cram in ghosts, demons, serial killers, aliens, robotic spider things, exorcisms and the lead singer of Maroon 5 getting his arm ripped off while having blowjob into 2 episodes. Can't believe Herc isn't into it, what with Tim Minear on writing duties now.

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 3:38 p.m. CST

    Conan's ratings are so sad.

    by daggor

Even sadder is some of the shit that's clobbering it.

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 3:42 p.m. CST

I guess Sarah Silverman won't be doing Jimmy Kimmel any time soon

    by Marc Cerasini

In the literal and biblical sense...

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 4:08 p.m. CST

    big jim

    by Hercules

Tonight's 30 Rock is new. The Voice replaces all the NBC sitcoms tomorrow.

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 4:36 p.m. CST

Thanks Hercules for clearing that up

    by jim

    I'll shuffle my recordings accordingly

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 7:12 p.m. CST

The Voice is taking up tomorrow night?

    by drewlicious

F*** that shit. I hate NBC.

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 7:17 p.m. CST

Screw 30 Rock. The Great Pumpkin is on right now!

    by OutsideChance

"I got a rock." Still great.

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 8:03 p.m. CST

Gotta say, I'm impressed with "Arrow"

    by Beebop

I know it's basically Batman-lite, but I like the ruthlessness with which he interrogates and dispatches the bad guys. I also like the mystery of "the list," that also has members of his family involved....and I'm REALLY surprised they've already unmasked him.

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 9:52 p.m. CST

    really funny modern family tonight

    by jsfithaca

    no weak plotlines

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 10:03 p.m. CST

Modern Family was good, but has a huge problem this season

    by Itchy

and that season is keeping Ariel Winter's tits strapped down. The more tight t-shirt shots they have with her, the creepier I feel.

  • Oct. 31, 2012, 11:08 p.m. CST

    Arrow

    by Cameron

I was growing disappointed but tonight's episode put all the crap that was annoying me into perspective. The acting may be spotty (though the blonde IT girl is great) but the show appears to be tightening up and moving along nicely. That deadshot design last week though...never forget never forgive.

  • Nov. 1, 2012, 7:12 a.m. CST

    Dude, Ariel Winter is 14

    by OutsideChance

    Who are you? Roman Polanski?

  • Nov. 1, 2012, 8:22 a.m. CST

Comcastic! No cable / internet since Monday. Thanks, Sandy!

    outsidechance

    by Itchy

that's why I feel creepy. It's the same creepy feeling I got the year Sam on Who's the Boss suddenly got noticeably hot, although back then I was actually her age. All I'm saying is keep the girl in a burka for a couple years, please.

  • It should be interesting to see where the broken up boat in the warehouse story goes. I was also supprised at just how quickly Oliver was revealed and carted away to prison, but then I got to thinking, its a little too convinient that on the same episode that he gets revealed that his bodyguard becomes a partner in crime that since he's converted will most likely dress up as Green Arrow and appear to the daddy cop at the same time that Olivers in the room, thus tricking them into thinking that Oliver is not the Green Arrow. Its what they did on Smallville and and the animated series The Batman, along with other comics. They could supprise us, but I doubt it.

  • Nov. 1, 2012, 12:08 p.m. CST

    I too like "Arrow"

    by jim

Is it just me or does anyone else think the creators are really big fans of "Revenge" (they're basically the same show)?

  • Nov. 1, 2012, 12:11 p.m. CST

    Sad day for Hercules

    by jim

First Angie, now RC. Oh well, at least RC made the Jury, so she'll still pop up every episode at Tribal Council, and there's also the Ponderosa videos.

  • Nov. 1, 2012, 12:20 p.m. CST

Thanks X Factor for running 5 minutes long

    by jim

made me miss the end of "Nashville" (it's a Canadian thing - Fox & ABC show on the same channel). You'd think with 2 hosts they'd be doubly effective at keeping the show moving and on time. But no, I'm guessing it simply means twice as much time spent with inane and useless banter. It's also the channel's fault that, when the "live"show went long, they didn't compensate to squeeze the 40+ minutes of "Nashville" into the 55 minutes remaining in the hour.

  • Nov. 1, 2012, 12:28 p.m. CST

no ratings to report because of the storm, but...

    by jay2517

....i wonder if Herc the fucking Hack is waiting on leftist letterman to tell him what to think of the storm? my guess, MOST DEFINITELY.

  • Nov. 1, 2012, 2:17 p.m. CST

    Letterman is a fucking GOD.

    by Hercules

If you don't see it, that says a lot.

  • Nov. 1, 2012, 2:18 p.m. CST

    Yes, I will miss RC

    by Hercules

    and her unblurred ass.

  • Nov. 1, 2012, 4:28 p.m. CST

    "American Horror Story" streams nowhere?

    by MovieManStill

That sucks. I have a life, but no DVR. Damn recession.

  • Nov. 1, 2012, 5:20 p.m. CST

But the Christians are about to be eaten!

    by v1cious

American Horror Story continues to be great. Still hasn't reached the level of the last season yet, but so far I'm really enjoying it.

  • Nov. 1, 2012, 10:46 p.m. CST

is he, Herc the fucking Hack? hmmm, question is...

    by jay2517

....is he a most awesome Elder Fucking God or a lame ass Wind God with pussyass wings on his feet?? me personally, i think hes a lowly Misogynist Godling.

  • Nov. 2, 2012, 8:36 a.m. CST

    @hercules me too!

    by IamHERE

First they voted off the blonde bombshell with amazing tits, now RC, who had a great rack and awesome ass. Now all that is left is an annoying spanish bitch and the lady who looks like a thin piece of beef jerky with a mouth. interest is wanning.

  • Nov. 2, 2012, 8:38 a.m. CST

    Also American Horror Story is...

    by IamHERE

FREAKY AWESOME! So great to see awesome perfomances, gonzo horror porn, S&M, demons, alien abductions, bloody face, but I am a bit disappointed they didnt follow up the doctor and the alien implant that crawled away. hopefully it will be addessed later.

  • He is out of sight and out of mind now. He is now a C list celebrity. Jimmy Fallon is now being groomed to take over The Tonight Show when Jay leaves. Think about that Herc. Jimmy Fallon is going to inherit The Tonight Show. How sad is that? Read the book "The War For Late Night" by Bill Carter. Read that book and your opinion of Conan will drop and your opinion of Leno will rise. Conan was so naive that he didn't even get timeslot protection written into his contract. He listened to all the wrong people, Gavin Polone being cheif among them. Jimmy Kimmel is a douchebag. He loved Jay Leno when it looked like he was going to jump ship to his network. At one point Kimmell was taking career advice from Leno! Read the book. Leno owns Letterman. He beat him out for the Tonight Show job. He beat him in the ratings, and when then he returned from his ten pm exile he started beating him again. Don"t get me wrong I like Letterman, but Letterman is to self-destructive to be given the big chair. Just look at his intern scandal. If half of what came out is to be believed than Letterman is everything people accuse Leno of being, creepy cold, weird and cruel. If Leno had an intern scandal AICN would never stop talking about it. Leno is the once and future king of late night. His legacy is assured and he will go down in history as one of if not the best host of The Tonight Show. Jimmy Fallon will not be able to match his numbers and will crash and burn just like Conan did. Not surprising considering that they are both Letterman acolytes.
