Hey folks, Harry here... Word coming from other screenings is that WRECK IT RALPH is a wonderful flick that has quite a bit of video game magic and nostalgia handled in the best manner that we've yet seen. It plays to adults and to kids - and I've heard it also feels less Disney and a bit more Dreamworks-esque in terms of how the humor works. So color me extremely curious.
Disney really believes in the film - that's why they offered us screenings for all the outlets that AICN has someone on staff. I was completely not expecting that. So I'm very happy to be hosting a screening of WRECK IT RALPH at the Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar this Thursday, November 1st at 7:30pm.
All you have to do is drop me an email at HK at AintItCool.com with the following Subject Line:
Like WRECK IT RALPH I am More Than My Job!!!
Then in the body of the email, list your full name and the full names of up you 6 guests. (I like to offer these chances for families to enjoy this together - as well as all the big video game buddies & pals to enjoy this together.) SO list em and they get in, 1st come, 1st served.
Also include your personal favorite video game ever.
This is gonna be a lot of fun!
Harry
