I don't cosplay in public, but I do make a big to do for Halloween and my costumes are typically geek centered. I understand the effort it takes and commend anyone that tries. Subtract 10 pts for store bought though. You think outside the box Johnny. I appreciate that.

No such thing as too many cosplay pictures of cute girls in sexy outfits

SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER!
-
They never buy anything. They simply stand around mugging for as many cameras as they can, blocking traffic to booths, knocking over collectibles with their unwieldy costumes, essentially ruining the con experience for everyone else. Give them a separate room for their picture posing antics, and BAN THEM from the dealer space. Dammit.
-
Sort of like going as Clark Kent. Hey, check it out: a suit and tie! That must have been hard to make! On the other hand, maybe it took him two years of hard work to grow the beard.
-
They got the story the day it broke. It just fell off the main page. Try Cool News, do it now!

...That the best of the bunch is the "Progressive Insurance" chick?
-
I saw that dude though, and he had a giant glowing circle underneath his shirt. Pretty cool.
-
I can see the circle.

Proof why only Asians should be allowed to Cosplay. But to be fair, none of these were particularly atrocious.... except for the occasional inappropriate-to-the-costume hipster glasses.

Bottom Left - Bikini Line Zits

Yowza. And I swear for a second I thought that actually was Whedon dressed as hippie Aquaman.

Cool stuff, hope there's more coming! The Cap A costume pinpoints the same problem the movie costume had

cowl and mask squishing poor Evans' face into a bring out the gimp like state. That's some pretty accurate cosplaying!
-
No pun intended. It's always fun seeing otherwise fairly average chicks in hot outfits but its become so mainstream that its just not interesting any more. Feels more like an attention grab than anything. SDCC has been ruined for many years now and cosplay is no small part of it.

Grown men should NEVER dress up for Halloween unless they are in a relationship with a woman.
by Cotton_Mcknight
I can't think of anything more ridiculous than a grown man who is completely unattached dressing up for Halloween. At least when you have a girlfriend or you are married, you can make the excuse that your significant other made you do it. I'm sorry if this hurts anyone's feelings, but those are the rules.
-
1) A lifetime of sitting in front of TV and computer screens means you shouldn't expose them to bright lights. Especially sunlight as it will kill them. 2) Never get them wet. They hate washing. 3) No matter how much they beg., never, ever feed them after midnight - they've eaten enough.
-
...to "crack one off" over a picture of that girl dressed as Wonder Woman?
-
Stop what you're doing and go and watch Arrested Development right now
-
So say we all.
-
Klingons are so over!
-
...and it's completely made by hand too. So what if its a full size (350ft tall) Gojira suit. Every year they're like "No way! No giant monsters!" And I'm like "Racist bitches" ....I figured installing a fully functional flame thrower this year would get me in but apparently not (I tried radioactive fire last year but I figured that might be dangerous so it has to be regular fire unfortunately). Perhaps next time...
-
Not dressing up is lame. That is the only rule.
-
now if they was in better shape and more athletic looking they might win awards!
-
You're clearly not very close to the woman dressed up as Ghost, or Emma Storm... or whatever she is, but you can see her damn razor burn! lol Bet she wasn't expecting that. <p> Much better costumes this round. I'm diggin' it.
-
...LOL! Seriously.
-
I was shooting with a Canon T3i and a 40mm pancake lens. I also wanted everyone to see the little bits of detail so I uploaded the pics at a high resolution. Thanks for noticing.

I haven't been around this site in a couple years, but saw Mr. Knowles at the Con so figured something would be here. Top left is my Man-wolf costume. We were in line there for the Ray Park Q&A right there. Good times.
