Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Pic!
Before I finally head back home from this extended London outing, I wanted to make sure I got today’s BTS pic posted. As you could probably tell from the headline, it is from Bride of Frankenstein, but it is the odd BTS shot that doesn’t feature The Monster, The Bride or makeup legend Jack Pierce. Instead, it showcases the iconic town set on the Universal backlot from a bird’s eye perspective.
I’ve stated before that I love these kinds of shots, the ones that pull way back and show the amount of most-often invisible labor that goes into your average film production. In this case, odds are you just believe you’re in a beautiful gothic village and don’t think about the hundreds if not thousands of man hours that went into building the fronts and erecting the facades.
