A Blockbuster SOUTH PARK!! Obama On LENO!! O’Reilly On LETTERMAN!! New SURVIVOR, MTV CHALLENGE, CSI, AHS, MODERN, SUPERNATURAL, ARROW & NASHVILLE!! SVU 300!! PARANORMAL WITNESS Finale!! Leland Palmer On CRIMINAL MINDS!! Herc’s Wednesday TV Talkback!!

Comedy Central says of “A Nightmare on Facetime”:

The boys are all ready to dress up as their favorite foursome, the Avengers, for Halloween. After months of planning their costumes, at the last minute Randy tells Stan he can’t go trick or treating with his friends. Instead, Stan has to pitch in and help his father with a new business venture.

Jeff Probst claims tonight’s episode boasts some manner of “Survivor” first.

Premiering tonight:

The Houstons (Lifetime)

“Nashville” and “Chicago Fire” both took big hit in their second weeks, allowing “CSI” to re-emerge as Wednesday’s top 10 p.m. show.

As the lower-rated “Mob Doctor” lingers on, NBC decided last week to pull the plug on “Animal Practice” (which did not last quite as long as “Weeds").

I hear NBC is beating Fox in 18-49 this season.  The weakness of "The X Factor" my be to blame.

"South Park" hit a season high last week," and a "The Daily Show" hit its best number in a while.

MSNBC has really been gaining audience since the Republican convention in August.  Rachel Maddow, whom David Letterman called "the smartest woman I know" last night, saw her show tie "Hannity" in the key demo last Wednesday.  She also beat everything on CNN and almost everything on Fox News in that all-important demo.

    Arrow

    by rakesh patel

Is a perfect replacement for smallvile it has the same high quotient cheese factor that kept smallvile on tv for a decade. I'm not sure where they are going with the mother in cahoots with the bad guys nor the dad diary I mean rally how many guys could he have fucked over. I think arrow is missing a good quality sidekick/buddy. Frat buddy screwing his ex miss is kinda annoying. "hey man let's paaaaarrty!" that and black british dude seem to be the weak links.

It's like the show runners said, =We're still not canceled? Shit. Well, okay.= Apparently you have to try really hard to get canceled by the CW. Or the WB. Or UPN. Or whatever the fuck they are now.

    Pretty funny Randy episode.

    by cerberus

The "TED" shoutout was funny. You think Matt and Trey are just a little pissed that Ted did so well? I can't wait to see how catty they get once Seth has hosted the Oscars. By the way, has anyone noticed the uptick in Product Placement on South Park? It seems like every episode this season works as an advertisement for somehing. At least it wasn't as bad as last week when they were shilling for Ben Affleck. That was a real low point.

  • Oct. 25, 2012, 2:14 a.m. CST

That was another good episode of Arrow tonight.

The island back story is getting really interesting, and John Diggle is a cool character. Bring on the next episode.

Cerebus, what do you mean "uptick in product placement on South Park"?

    by DerLanghaarige

I stopped watching the show a while ago, but are you telling me it's now worse than back when they dedicated full episodes in a non-satirical way to how awesome the Wii, PSP and WOW are?

  • Oct. 25, 2012, 4:12 a.m. CST

I used to watch Supernatural like it's my religion. Now I forgot it's on.

    by David Cloverfield

Fucking hack writers. The boys finally learned to act (more or less), and now they have nothing to work with. Post Lucifer villains are lame. Why couldn't they just sit down and think over the whole "Gods from old mythologies filling the power vacuum" idea they teased us with in season 5, instead of lame ass Eve, Leviathans and awesome, but not really threatening Crowley (you can't have a nemesis you can reason with!). Maybe the show will recover when they know it's the last season (I can promise you, the last episodes will be about re-opening the Cage. That was the high-point of the series, everybody knows it.) It really should have ended in Season 5, even if we had like 5 awesome episodes in the last three seasons. The good ep/bad ep ratio totally shifted and it's frustrating.

    Supernatural the good old days

    by rakesh patel

Kansas Carry on my Wayward son would be blasting in the background. Bobby Singer would be there helping the boys. Castiel would pop up and act as the deus ex machina weird demon creatures / mythology and ingenious methods of execution. A fucking smoking hot demon babe on their side but willing to stab them in the back. These were the fucking key ingredients, and now we're left with fucking nothing! There's no support cast. the boys have been to hell and back ( literally) so many times it seems that as consequence ..meh.. not so much. and after x years on the road they still don't tell the truth to each other. dean with his secret Purgatory buddy and sam with his going back to study for a degree. c'mon man seriously? that's the fuckng angst? how many times have dean and sam kept shit from each other only for it to blow up. and how man times have these guys tried to live a normal life knowing full well they cant or something will find them and kill them and their loved ones. sams fucking dream sequences picnics life with out dean are just fucking hilarious even though they're not supposed to be. who the fuck is the big bad this season? the king vampire? crowley? seriously i don't even fucking know any more. c'mon supernatural writers, we've stuck with you for ages. through hell and high water. give us a final season we can actually be proud of.

  • Oct. 25, 2012, 7:53 a.m. CST

Hey, this new ep wasn't that bad.

    by David Cloverfield

Yeah, the found footage thing was forced, but I didn't mind seeing a case from the monster(s) of the week's perspective. And we actually see the fact that both Winchesters are way too mellowed out and it will bite them in the ass. (In the good old days it was "monster = dead")

    Supernatural is a pale corpse

    by oisin5199

that should have been put out of its misery years ago, when Kripke left. They've completely run out of ideas to the point where they're now recycling past season arcs but with the Winchesters in the reverse positions. 2 seasons ago Dean had the domestic life and Sam was the one who had returned from hell. Before that, Dean had been to hell. And they're not even mentioning it!!! It's like the characters have plothole amnesia. They don't even acknowledge that Sam and Dean were in the reverse positions just 2 seasons ago!!! It's like these new writers haven't even watched the show they're on. I reaaaalllllly hope they end this train wreck this year.

    unintentionally hilarious arrow moment

    by rakesh patel

deadshot shots into the room, panic ensues, everyone runs lady standing in front of champagne bottles, cut away to other scenes, 30 seconds later, deadshot shoots again and hit champagne lady because she didn't bother to move. good looking it geek girl manning helpdesk. yeah that happens. I'm actually surprised they got rid of deadshot so quickly. i wasn't particularly impressed with his gun, hopefully the character comes back ( an assassin league of deadshots?) with a personality and better weapons. british black dude still doesn't add anything. bodyguard black dude is going to be arrows kato. blackjack bauer not really adding anything either. that police captain seems a bit young to be police captain. arrow is the batman television series we never had. still enjoying it though.

    American Horror Story

    by rakesh patel

So hard to comment on this. An excellent show but a different beast ( obviously) to season 1. Not sure if i like that it set in the past and flashes forward to future. Still an excellent cast, Cromwell and Lange show the others how to do it. Not entirely convinced about Fiennes playing the chummy Monsignor, nor am i as involved with the story of alien beheader and lesbian reporter. but i'll wait and see as to how it develops. Kudos to the sfx / makeup folks. the work done transforming Naomi Grossman to Pepper is superb.

  • BOR- 4.0 the uber dullard maddow- 1.8 man, the dullard is getting just fucking destroyed in the ratings. too bad herc the fucking hack totally ignores it. what a sad man...

  • Hannity- 828 the dullard maddow- 598 so, in REAL terms, the dullard finished in 4th place. but, to hear Herc the fucking Hack post it, the dullard maddow is *winning* at something. truth is, she gets her ass handed to her on a nightly basis, in BOTH categories. Until the movie studios end their 30-day moratorium on new video streaming, that Redbox joke falls flat. Seriously, like anyone wants to pay 5 dollars for a one-night streaming rental of Avengers on iTunes when they can pay a dollar at Redbox.

Rachel must be doing something right to piss you off so badly. If no ones watching her then why do you care? you are Nerd-raging so badly you have to mock her name and spout the fact that Fox News gets higher ratings. Fox news itself likes to state this fact often, as if higher ratings means they must be right. Higher ratings doesn't make you right. Alot of stupid shows get good ratings.

  • ...but, ill give u 3 guesses on who does...and the first 2 dont count.... ...psssst!....heres a clue...Herc the fucking Hack does. now, quit being obtuse and keep up.
