Omen Trilogy Brand new last year 12.49 shipped. Around the same time Amazon warehouse offered like new used sets for a slightly less at 11.25 shipped.

Actually there were two attempts to make THE OMEN into a TV show.

OMEN IV was a 1991 TV movie that had a chance to become a TV show if the ratings were good enough. But the TV movie got SLAMMED by the critics and ratings were so so. Four years later an pilot was made featuring actor William Sadler, with the title of THE OMEN. I think it aired originally on NBC but I could be wrong on that. It had nothing to do with the 4 previous movies as far as the Anti Christ. The story of the pilot dealt with the concept of a evil force trying to take over people. It was more of an X-Files ripoff. I think they made the movie under the concept of the Friday the 13th TV Show. Same title with a very vague connection. I have it on VHS tape that I got on Ebay. It was just ok but bummed me out that it had nothing to do with the other movies.

I wish they would remake the sequels to THE OMEN.

I LOVE the original OMEN Trilogy. All 3 were very well done! Out of the 3 I always find myself watching DAMIEN: OMEN II the most. I LOVE that movie! The whole concept of the Business world ushering in the AntiChrist rise to power is a pretty cool concept. I just wished that the FINAL CONFLICT had a better ending. The Anti Christ chasing an elderly monk in a Land Rover is not exactly Fire & Brimstone hailing in the Armageddeon is not exactly a great climax. With that said I would love to see the two theatrical sequels get the remake treatment. So much can be improved. It's too bad that the 2006 remake was just a money grab and nothing more! :(

I feel genuinely sad for people who buy tv box sets. GENUINE, genuine sadness. Think of this - 24 hours of IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT. That's a -day- of your -life- you didn't spend with family & friends doing things away from a tv. So sad. So sad.
