Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from LEGO

All I can say about this news is... COWABUNGA!!! The first set in the series “The Shellraiser Street Chase” will include  Leo and Mikey with a foot soldier, Dogpound and Krang ($59.99). The other minifigs will show up in several yet to be announced sets. Hopefully we'll know more about release dates, pricing and when we can expect to see a LEGO version of Casey Jones in the next few weeks.

It’s classic Joes versus Cobra in Hasbro’s latest building block line of toys. Beginning in February, Toys “R” Us stores will exclusively sell KRE-O G.I. JOE sets and mini-figures. Each G.I. The first wave will feature Rock N’ Roll, Kim Arashikage, Cobra Trooper, Crimson Guard Trooper, Scarlett, Cobra Axe Ninja, Cobra Ninja Viper, Quick Kick, Cobra Alley Viper, Torpedo and Adventure Team Commander. Weaponeers of Monkaa from Spy Monkey Creations

I got my hands on a couple of these new action figures that use the Glyos connection system. All of the limbs and extremities are interchangeable. Just pop off a hand and replace it with a any part you like. Each figure features 25-28 swappable parts including weapons, heads, hands and other accessories. They also come with a trading card. Currently there are 6 different figures up for sale with several different add on packs. You can learn more about them at SpyMonkeyCreations.com.

And finally this week, it's been a long time since He-Man has appeared in his own video game. Luckily the folks over at chillingo and Mattel have combined forces to bring us a new Masters of the Universe themed release on the iOS platform. Look for it in the fall.

That's it this week. Check back next week as we'll have more pics and news from this weekend's New York Comic Con. Be sure to follow my toy blog ArticulationTimes.com on Twitter and Facebook and subscribe to the AICN Youtube channel.
