Check out this cool art poster for Don Coscarelli's John Dies At The End!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a look at the very cool brand new poster for Don Coscarelli's super fun John Dies At The End. The good folks at io9 got the debut.
You guys should be fully aware of my rather large soft spot for artistically driven posters by now and when you pair a movie I dig as much as John Dies with a fun art poster... well, that's a little like putting peanut butter and chocolate together: a perfect combination.
Here's the poster. Give it a click to visit io9 for a larger version!

Coscarelli rules, but I don't read books. Hope this is good.

The novel is one of the best genre-related things I've read in years... and the film, which I saw at TIFF, does a pretty good job of capturing the tone. I also just finished the sequel, 'This Book is Full of Spiders: Seriously Dude, Don't Touch It', and loved it as well. If the sequel ever gets adapted to a film, they'll need a HUGE budget.

I think the scene where he's talking on the hotdog is just fucking brilliant.

And Coscarelli is pretty great too

is one of my ten favorite horror movies. I remember first hearing about it on a little website called upcomingmovies.com. Back in the late late 90s. It really is a neat little picture. Bruce Cambell starred in it. Don Coscarelli makes movies without a necessary big budget and giant mold spots. Dude, I didnt even know this movie was coming out, no commercials or details. So please give us a little information about it. Because a cool movie poster isn't shit to show without a great motion picture backing it up.

I think it did for horror what 2001 : A Space Odyseey did for sci-fi.
