    I think I may stop watching Revolution

    by eric haislar

    I really does not grab me and I have to force myself to watch it. anyone else having this problem?

  • Add in I really don't care why the power went out in the first place. They are pushing that on me, and I'd rather just see people try to survive in a world without power and not be such big pussies about it. Kill or be killed! That is why cable shows are going to take over, because network TV is just to soft, corny, and predictable.

  • Oct. 8, 2012, 3:23 p.m. CST

    Revolution

    by Crow3711

    Last week was better than first two eps, but still not great. I guess I'm the only one who likes Charlie, tho its mainly cause she's pretty frickin hot imo. Burke is decent. Pretty forgettable overall. I'll watch when I can, there's always some 43 minutes in the week to spend

  • Oct. 8, 2012, 5:28 p.m. CST

    Revolution

    by MrLongbaugh

    I have never watched it, but I like crow3711's attitude. I think I can find 43 minutes to check it out and see if it is any good.

  • Oct. 8, 2012, 5:33 p.m. CST

    I'm still watching for now

    by Truxton Spangler

    if only to see how far they go in explaining the schism between the characters. Don't give a crap about the electricity thing, or the fact that their set designers apparently think that supervines have taken over the world just because the power has gone out. But I suspect it will end up like the Event -- where the spoiler will eventually come out by the end, and leave one thinking "yeah, I'm glad I stopped watching; didn't miss anything."

  • Oct. 8, 2012, 6:07 p.m. CST

    Just got cable today. Where to start?

    by adeceasedfan

  • Oct. 8, 2012, 6:50 p.m. CST

    @adeceasedfan

    by MrLongbaugh

    With the Power or (On) button. :) Just kidding. Hope you have many great viewing experiences in the future.

  • Oct. 8, 2012, 8:39 p.m. CST

    Lol! mrlongbaugh.

    by adeceasedfan

    Good one.

  • BOR- 3.1 the dullard maddow- 1.3 why no mention of this Herc the fucking Hack? i know, rhetorical question.

  • I don't have time to put a bunch of shit in my TV schedule. I'll leave it by the wayside as I did The 4400, The Event, Alcatraz, and many others.

  • because this episode has been absolutely terrible and lame and sloppily written. Blegh.

  • Oct. 8, 2012, 10:09 p.m. CST

    I chose Dancing With The Stars.

    by adeceasedfan

    Pasa Doble in HD. Yay!

    Hey Amigos!

    by Paul

    Hows it going?

  • Oct. 8, 2012, 11:12 p.m. CST

    @Amigos

    by MrLongbaugh

    Hey there Pa. Got diagnosed with a bacterial infection from some food poisoning about a month ago. On a pretty solid dose of some different anti-biotics. Hope to be feeling better soon. How are things in Cali? @Jay Don't laugh....and don't be mad...but I really have no idea who Rachel Maddow is. She just isn't on my map, lol. @McGoo Where are you hiding? The *Cabin* got you all scared? LOL It wasn't all that, but it was an ok little movie. Were there any parts you did or didn't like?

  • Oct. 8, 2012, 11:14 p.m. CST

    @adeceasedfan

    by MrLongbaugh

    Who did you go with? Time Warner? Direct TV? Dish?

  • Oct. 8, 2012, 11:37 p.m. CST

    mrlongbaugh Doing ok,

    by Paul

    as for California itself the democrat leadership has taxed movie studios and businesses out of the state and gas stations are closin down because of high gas prices. But my family survives. FYI - Rachel Maddow is a democrat commintator for I believe MSNBC, Think of the polar opposite of Sean Hannity.

  • Oct. 8, 2012, 11:39 p.m. CST

    @mrlongbaugh

    by adeceasedfan

    Time Warner. I haven't had anything in 2 years, but was a DirecTV regular.

    Hope that you get better.

    Maybe I'm Just a Wussy Sap..

    by Crow3711

    But I thought revolution had a good deal of nice touching moments and strong performances all around. Except that fat "comedic relief" guy. He is just the absolute worst.

  • Oct. 9, 2012, 12:39 a.m. CST

    Libbys on Hawaii 5-O!

    by Paul

  • ...is that HtfH keeps bringing her into non political tb discussions on the rare instance she ties BOR in some stupid demo, totally ignoring that she gets destroyed by him in total viewers every night. im just showcasing his *im a registered republican* hypocrisy. BTW- u still wanting to have those Walking Dead cookouts?

  • Oct. 9, 2012, 1:24 a.m. CST

    5-O was good tonight

    by Paul

    A little bit out there but a good one off.

  • Oct. 9, 2012, 4:19 a.m. CST

    Just saw Revolution and it as pretty good (Spoiler)

    by Paul

    Man I didn't see that death coming, but looking back it didn't supprise me with Juliet having a bigger part in the present day storyline and with her being reunited soon with Ben.

    Hawai'i 5-0 has trouble figuring out what to do with their squad...

    by Uncle Pooky

    They are either the most incompetent bunch of cops around, or they manage to speed through an investigation faster than is plausible. Also, good to see that Jay2517 is still fighting a fight no one pays attention to or benefits from or even cares about.

  • Oct. 9, 2012, 10:16 a.m. CST

    @jay2517

    by MrLongbaugh

    Yeah man. I am still cool with the cookouts. I work 6 days a week, but I do have Sunday evenings off.

  • Oct. 9, 2012, 10:19 a.m. CST

    @adeceasedfan

    by MrLongbaugh

    I know what you mean. I loathe TW. I was Direct Tv with the Sunday Ticket. I have lived on Netflix and Redbox, since I found out I couldn't get Direct where I live.

    Thanks for the words of support. You hang in out there in Cali. Got to spend a few weeks in L.A. a few years ago. Had a blast. Take care.

    I agree about Hawaii 5-0

    by jim

    Not nearly as goofy an episode as the past two have been. The premise reminded me of that episode of "Magnum PI" when Magnum was stranded in the ocean of 2 days, treading water, fighting off sharks, and reminiscing about his dad. Great episode (5-0 was good too, but I never really felt the peril of their situation like I did with that Magnum episode).

  • Oct. 9, 2012, 1:10 p.m. CST

    Revolution surprised me last night ** spoiler **

    by jim

    I did not expect her to die. I figured soldier boy would turn out to also be a medic, save her life, and gain the thanks and maybe some trust from the others.

  • ...*sigh*. yet another case in point- *Also, good to see that Jay2517 is still fighting a fight no one pays attention to or benefits from or even cares about.*--- yet, here he is, AGAIN, posting about it. what level of stupid are u on now? 10? BTW- benefits from? another lie. i have never stated that i do it to *benefit* anyone u dumbfuk. Pooky Epic Fail Post #∞.

  • Oct. 10, 2012, 3 a.m. CST

    Did they really do a bottle episode of Five-0?

    by Truxton Spangler

    With McGarrett and Danno in the ocean? Yikes -- their forced and contrived "banter" is probably the worst part of the show. Can they kill the two kids next on Revolution? Even if one of them is a main character? I don't mind.

  • Oct. 10, 2012, 8:30 p.m. CST

    Madcow's ratings

    by DougShow

    There is no way on God's green earth that weird little boy has better ratings than Bill O'reilly. Maybe they should make the age range of the viewer 27-49. I would love to see these numbers. They would probably make a lot more sense. 18-23 yr. olds only care about watching tits and ass and low IQ programming, like anything that has "Jersey" in the title. It's total crap that this demographic has such power in the TV/Advertising business, considering they spend mom's money, or student loan money for the most part.

    The government subsidies for Rachel Maddow must be stopped.
