UPDATED WITH WORKING VIDS!! Hear Adele's SKYFALL Theme In Its Entirety And Now!!
A few days ago we got a 90-something second leak of Adele's new theme for forthcoming 007 picture SKYFALL. Although the song formally releases tomorrow, it seems a French radio station is already spinning the tune.
The verdict? I like it quite a bit - and I'm not necessarily an Adele fan. This strongly evokes classic Bond - which is what director Sam Mendes has indicated he's going for with this picture.
What do you think?

And I ain't a huge Adele fan either, but she's the right artist for the job, with out a doubt.

More like ripoff other Bond songs. There is not an original chord in this song, it sounds already heard since the first second. Not impressed.

Its garbage

Too Bad the Die Hard movies don't have their own movie motif. DIE HARD I'LL SHOW YOU MY HARD DIE HARD HARDER THAN I'VE EVERY BEEN AND IF I TRY HARD I'LL MAKE TO SIGH HARD I"LL COME INSIDE AND DIE.....HARD.

Way more appropriate for Bond than Chris Cornell or Madonna.

so why would i ever listen to adele?

Nothing new, but very Bondish and instantly recognizable.

Nothing New indeed. Stop dragging current pop flavours in to seel your movie.
by higgledyhiggles
Think outside the mainstream for once. Another dull sweeping strings with Pop Idol style vocals because she`s the flavour at the moment. Lazy thinking and lazy song. And now with extra lisp or should that be lithp. Surprisingly the Casino Royale has grown on me. Didn`t gel at first but it`s actually something different for bond. Quantum, hmm let`s not go there. Pub band.

I think that Adele should sing the theme tune to the Hungry,Hungry Hippos film...
by nobbythehappyelf
-
I don't really rate Adele but that's good.
-
And if you think it's not original, think of the challenge this very long franchise has of achieving classic Bond with original takes on Bond. This is a fine addition.
-
Sounds like a Brosnan theme. With Craig playing Bond the theme to Steptoe & Son would surely be most appropriate anyway.
-
Aw crap. Now I have to watch the movie with earplugs during the credits? This blows. Not that I listened to the song of course. I don't have it in me to do that on purpose.
-
Adele really does have the perfect voice for a Bond song. Don't understand why people have to qualify that they don't like Adele before saying they like it. She's a damn good singer, better than 99% out there.

Coming from someone who's a massive Adele fan and always been indifferent at best toward Bond...
by TheSeeker7
(also mind you I did quite enjoy Casino Royale, I still haven't seen QoS) I actually winced a little bit when I first heard she was going to do "the song" for the newest Bond flick. And now even listening to it, yea the song itself is okay enough, but, if this makes sense, it actually almost kinda seemed TOO obvious for Adele to be the one to do this, ya know like she's the biggest thing in British-born music right now (at the very least of female solos) and not like I think doing this will then create a downward spiral from which she'll never recover, this just seems like too much of a "flavor of the month" kind of thing to do, and that's sooooo not what Adele is.

Why do all modern singers sound like they are auditioning for the Vocal Olympics!?
by Ray_Tango
It's okay to actually just hold a note and not waver. You don't have to go up and down 17 octaves in the space of three seconds ... I get it, you can sing fancy. Now how about showing some restraint and class for once. Jesus, kids these days.
-
I think it was a Dell.
-
Not saying i don't love the slower romantic bond themes, But in this day and age a upbeat rock song would suit Daniel Craigs bond much better. Chris cornel's "You know my name" is the only truly great bond theme in the last 15 year, and only it and tina Turner's golden eye are the only good ones of the last 25 years Bond 24, needs to Have Muse doing a harder rock song song, One that will light up itunes charts and not just be a filler theme quickly forgotten
-
But it's not bad. Does have a classic Bond sound.
-
All I'm getting is a grey rectangle.
-
Think it went offline *just* before you checked, mate. I had it working, reloaded the page and now it's gone, even if I open in a new browser.
-
Now that you mention it, I think they could have done it justice. Adele does seem like the obvious choice as a latter-day Shirley Bassey type of singer.

mus42, thanks for putting up new link. I have to say I really like this track. It's got that high end glamor ambience of Bond nailed down. The hook isnt as catchy as some other Bond songs perhaps but its got a cool smoky vibe. Yep, like this one.

Bit dull, sounds like a Moore theme ... 'You know my name' Is far and away the best recent Bond theme ...
by GINGE_MUPPET
-
redhead redemption, You Know My Name and Goldeneye are the only two great bond songs of last 25 years?! You have got to be joking. There's been so much amazing Bond music over last 25 years its hard to know where to start. Aside from the title tracks, most of which have been very very good, then simply the instrumentation to the end credits on movies like TOMMORROW NEVER DIES (which had the KD Lang closer) or THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS (which finished with the Pretenders If There Was A Man) is amazing. For me John Barry is the gold standard of movie music, and even after his passing his legacy lives on in the Bond themes. Perhaps you prefer the Bourne soundtracks, filled with all those sweeping memorable orchestral wonders.... or not.
-
shouldve gone with Noel Gallagher's "Freaky Teeth" miles better and suits Craig s version of Bond. Die Hard did get a song its on the extras of DH4 by Guys Night, very cheesey and funny.
-
It grates my teeth, and it sounds like it was cobbled together in five minutes flat!! And yes, I think Chris Cornell is a bit of a genius - but his art is best when he is with his bandmates in Soundgarden. Not a good Bond theme at all - unusually, when the credits come on for Goldeneye, I fast-forward them!! This song is awesome though!! And its a good boding for the movie!!
-
Ah, damn it!! Off to bed!!
-
It really set the tone for CR, great Bond theme, although my fave is "We have all the time in the world" another song that really set the tone well.
-
...yeah a throwback to Shirley Bassey which is what I want for a Bond theme(I also liked The World is not Enough) A Bond theme has to be sung by a belter. We don't need a modernized "hip" bond song. I remember when Madonna said it was time for Bond to get techno and we got Die Another Day. Horrible. And why was it that Madonna does a better theme song(Beautiful Stranger) for Austin Powers, a Bond spoof, than the one for the actual Bond. Anyway, I like the song, the trailer looks amazing, and it's the first Bond in IMAX. Can't wait!
-
…did a bloody good theme for the Blood Stone video game. Get her to do the next film.
-
Just above the Hungry Hippos piece... Coincidence? Discuss.
-
…I thought the Adele theme was pretty good. Not sure about those "call-and-response" vocals in the choruses though.
-
You know, go on youtube and search for "Muse - Supremacy", that would have been perfect for the skyfall theme. That being said, i like this song, it will do...but it is a pretty safe option.

They went for slow & mysterious, but this is boring & forgettable
by Koborover
The Cornell and White/Keyes songs are not the best of the franchise but at least they make an attempt to grab you. This one doesn't. I think it would've been better if they'd used Adele for a more romantic ballad like Nobody Does It Better, Moonraker and For Your Eyes Only.

Just how I feel about all of Adele's music - boring and yawn inducing. The slow and myterious Bond theme can work, but this sounds like everyone was half asleep recording this. There's no lushness in the sound to bring it to life. It sounds generic and bland.

K.d. Lang's "Surrender (Tomorrow Never Dies)" is amongst the best of the best Bond songs, despite the fact they used the hideous Sheryl Crow song at the beginning. This new one is quite good. Better than the garbage of the last few films. Too bad such a good song is going to be wasted on the new James Bourne movies. *sigh*...some day, James Bond will indeed return.

I don't care what anyone says, "You Know My Name" is fantastic, and fit the theme of the reboot perfectly. The Adele song is alright, better than that abomination of a duet last film.

And I loved this theme! But hey, everyone is welcome to their opinions.

I'll have to warm up to this tune though. Good, but need a few more spins.
-
.....I love Adele, but this isn't very good....I sadly blame David Arnold.....he's v great at a 'score', but isn't up to composing the main theme-tune...the irony? He co-wrote Bjork's 'Play Dead'...which was good enough to be a Bond theme-tune... Even G'n'R's 'If The World' was good enough to be a Bond tune - no sh*t.... ridiculously under-rated as a song....I mean, let's be brutally honest...what was the last 'real quality' Bond song??? It sure as hell wasn't Garbage, Madonna etc...I love Chris Cornell (and Soundgarden), and that was a great song, but still didn't quite 'do' it.....I loathe U2 and Goldeneye as a film, but that was the nearest to Shirley Bassey, frankly...in all honesty.....weird how it works....
-
I'm sorry, but this is perfectly fine. Who could find fault with this? Best ever? No. Best since k.d. lang or Tina Turner, though.
-
Prometheus was god-awful, btw...watch Ridley Scott's 'Alien'....then compare.....dear God !!!!!
-
David Arnold had nothing to do with the song, and he isn't the composer for Skyfall. Thomas Newman is (and no, Newman didn't work on the song either...just the score).
-
Re - Portishead - you mean Glory Box, was theme-tune esque...they don't 'exist' anymore, dude.....(sadly)...
-
I would also like to add that this is the best title that wasn't written by the film's... score guy in the last little while.
-
David Arnold has uncredited input in the composition dude....that I know, unequivocally...but we can agree to disagree, politely, for sure....peace up.
-
Nah, he doesn't. But it's funny you think so.
-
...and yet it's funny how you haven't mentioned Paul Epworth....(the bloke who makes Foster the People sound very nice)...heard of him, sir? He makes Mark Ronson look v v v v baaaaad....

Fantastic use of the orchestra and Adele sings it nicely but... the song itself isn't great. I do admire them for making a more thoughtful theme this time around.
by Mark Jones
-
Sorry but i really dont think the song evokes classic Bond. Dont get me wrong its not a bad song and its definately better than Die Another Day and Another Way To Die. But Skyfall will not go down as one of the classic Bond Themes. Why do I sense another Tomorrow Never Dies Scenario here where the better track ends up being relagated to the End title credits. Surrender sung by K.D. Lang was a brilliant Bond song and should have been the title theme, but instead it got relagated to the end credits while the decent but no where near as incredible Tommorow Never Dies sung by Sheryl Crow got the prime spot. Skyfall sounds like a decent end title song, but thats just my opinon. And the move is still my most anticpated film to see of 2012
-
You are bang on, correct, mate...Lang is quality....

This is basically a self fulfilling prophecy right here--as soon as Adele's voice was heard by those who respect the Bond legacy, we all knew this woman was made to sing this song!
by elgato73
I mean, Set Fire To The Rain should be a Bond title for Christ's sake. And that song is pure Bond. Adele's the new Shirley Bassey, plain and simple. Skyfall is an amazing song and by God I hope she does the theme song for the next 20 films!
-
but at least it's not Die Another Day
-
Personally I think Uno is the perfect James Bond theme especially for the Pierce Brosnan era Bond.
-
Seriously her cover of Lets get this Party Started for title sequence of Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore 3D Evokes classic bond more than Skyfall. They honestly should have had her come back, have talked Don Black to come out of retirement and write the lyrics and Dame Shirley Bassey sing one last truly classic Bond Theme for the 50th anniversary

What's with the Tom Bwokaw voice? Other than that, a completely fine Bond Song.
-
...someone would ask Tori Amos to sing one. Listen to her sing 'That Guy' with an orchestra or her 'Bug A Martini' on organ. Even those sound more like a Bond theme than this. Sorry Adele.
-
I can't wait for SKYFALL. Weirdly enough, I think I'm probably more excited for SKYFALL than for THE HOBBIT. Perhaps because I know we won't get to the really epic parts of Bilbo's journey until the second and third films. Still though, with those two films, as well as Dredd, Argo, The Master, Lincoln, Cloud Atlas, and Django Unchained, it is shaping up to be a pretty damn fine fall/winter movie season to close out 2012.
-

I can picture one perfect scene, where everything is silent except this song is playing...
-
And it's not even a James Bond movie!
-
But Amy Winehouse is dea........ yeah, she still woulda sounded better.
-
You're right, dude.... great track, great album.... and that Buckethead solo is a killer....it's ironic that when they play it live (I think it's on utube), it's precluded by some 'programmed talkover' saying 'Black Bond', as if they knew it was a potential Bond track, but wouldn't be touched by the makers of a Bond film......

THE BULLITTS "SKYFALL" WAS 1000 TIMES BETTER THAN THIS. ADELE SHOULD'VE SUNG THAT!!!!!!!
by Napolean Solo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCfT354DokU&feature=relmfu You can't even compare them. Adele's is good but if she had sung The Bullitts number, it would have been classic!
-
I copied and pasted this from their YouTube. Look at the difference. She should've sung this: SKYFALL (lyrics) Don't let the SKYFALL Over my night fall Just like the tide calls To my fatal love When you make the SKYFALL The shadows of light fall Danger in sight draws For my fatal love You whisper his name Then walk in the flame Your burning It's never the same When murder's the game You're learning Make me a diamond flower From a seed Love, Take from me exactly what you need I bleed love... Don't let the SKYFALL Over my night fall Just like the tide calls To my fatal love When you make the SKYFALL The shadows of light fall Danger in sight draws For my fatal love Maybe the stars in your eyes have a world of meaning... Maybe they come with a pathway To Mars and beyond Maybe a part of me dies - When you leave me Maybe it's a sign that something's wrong So long... Don't let the SKYFALL Over my night fall Just like the tide calls To my fatal love When you make the SKYFALL The shadows of light fall Danger in sight draws For my fatal love Like the wind is to the tree Like the blue is to the sea My love Hold ever still, I'm ready Place my heart upon your blade With you I'll give my final breath to be Don't let the SKYFALL Over my night fall Just like the tide calls To my fatal love When you make the SKYFALL The shadows of light fall Danger in sight draws For my fatal love

to clean my cochlea (easy now), after listening to this insipid song. John Barry is incredibly missed! One of the all time great film composers. Funny enough, I was just listening to the "Dances with Wolves" soundtrack the other day, after watching the film again. Damn what a score.
-
I do like the languid, throaty Shirley Bassey-esque vocal and the retro sound, but that appears to be the limit of whatever creative effort went into this song. After about a minute it's completely boring and forgettable. I'm frankly a little surprised and disappointed that Adele agreed to this, but for the mountain of money I assume they offered her for this, I'd happily record an album's worth of hand-fart sounds.
-

Has that classic Bond theme sound. Adele is perfect for this. Sheryl Crow's theme is still my favorite
by cgih8r
-
I always connect a Bond theme song with the visuals that accompany them in the film. When I first heard Chris Cornell's "You Know My Name" before I saw the film, I didn't get it. I thought it was to hard-driving for a Bond film, having grown up with Shirley Bassey, Carly Simon and Sheena Easton themes as some of my favorites. But when I finally saw the credit sequence with the silhouetted Bond running around fighting and shooting it out with various opponents, it worked perfectly for me. Now it's one of my favorites. I can't wait to see how Adele's song works with the title visuals. And add me to the list of people who love K.D. Lang's "Surrender." In the James Bond soundtrack collection on my music player, I replaced "Tomorrow Never Dies" with "Surrender" in the playback order.

Adele sang this a bit too lazy, she let some of her natural cockney accent bleed out, and that's what you don't want to have happen. The lyrics to this song are ATROCIOUS. However, the arrangement of this song is fantastic. Overall, it's a mixed bag, but when this is laid over Daniel Kleinman's title sequence (which I think this video is giving away just a little bit), we are in for a true experience. This is 50th Anniversary Bond here. We will have the opening gunbarrel, we will have a Kleinman title sequence (which is confirmed to have tits in it, as it should) And we'll have a serviceable opening theme.
-
This was weak.

This is the laziest, most mediocre shit I've heard in ages
by Paul Macadom
“Sky Fall, Crumballs, Stand tall, Face it all”. Are you fucking kidding me?? Did “the cat sat on the mat” too? Maybe she should just throw her hands up in the air, and then wave them around like she just don't care. Pedestrian, amateur, moronic fucking lyrics. Lazy melody, dull vocals, no structure. This sounds like she couldn't be fucked. What a massive, massive disappointment.
-
this is rather good. sounds like the grandoise, if you will "traditional" Bond themes of years gone by. it's not the greatest ever Bond theme (the John Barry theme, Goldfinger, Live And Let Die, A View To A Kill top that list) but it's a fair distance away from being one of the worst. can't say i am the biggest of Adele fans, not being part of her target market, but she does a good enough job singing this. bring on the film!
-
It ought to be Radiohead.

Muse actually put Supremacy to the producers of Skyfall to use as the theme song and the producers turned them down. Even my wife who hates Muse thought it would have been perfect for a Bond film.

Has a very retro feel to it. Still think young Adele is overrated though. 'Nobody does it better" in my opinion is the pinnacle of the Bond themes for me. And please EON productions: How about re-incorporating the iconic gunbarrel at the start this time, not at the bloody end.

I don't know how the producers sort out the Bond themes, but that song sounds like it was submitted and rejected. Good song though.

Not only is it PERFECT for a Bond film, it even DIRECTLY lifts musical themes from the Bond Main Theme. I've heard the Adele song - and it's OK. Just seems a shame. I can't hear "Supremacy" without envisioning it over a Bond title sequence.

Should have been Muse. This is too SAFE and Adele not strong enough
by performingmonkey
If they were gonna go for a safe, heard-it-all-before, orchestra-y Bond theme it needed someone who could really belt out some moneyshot notes at the end. Adele can only sing in a certain range (at least these days). Supremacy, the first track on Muse's new album, was obviously written as a Bond theme and SHOULD have been used here.
-
but this song is pretty cool. It immediately reminded me of the Goldfinger theme. It's definitely got a cool vibe to it, and I sense a hint of finality to it as well, since I'm guessing this is Daniel Craig's last one. All y'all haters need to calm down, by the way. Another Way to Die was pretty awesome.

The opening was quite promising , but it went downhill from there. Chris Cornell all the way for me out of the Daniel Craig theme songs.

And interesting duality that might reflect the movie's own plot. One thing i loved about the title song in "Casino Royale" is that it's intrumental version was used very effectively as an alternate Bond Theme. I can see the same with this song. Something the song of "Tumor Of Solace" couldn't be made into. Well, i'm Ok with this song. I remember that at first i found "You Know My Name" a bit weird and out of tune, but now i love it. I might grew on this song as well after i heard it in context.
-
she has an amazing voice. truly. yeah this totally works for me.

Best Bond song of the 60s: From Russia With Love. Best Bond song of the 70s: Nobody Does It Better. Best Bond song of the 80s: The Living Daylights. Best Bond song of the 90s: They were all gash. Best Bond song of the 00s: You Know My Name. <p> This one is totally forgettable. Bland, mediocre shit... which means it will be a huge hit here in the UK.

zzzzz skyfawwwwl... hic... iza crumbawwwwl.. cough splutter... And I'm sure in a few places she's out of tune. On the other hand, I hated Another Way To Die when I first heard that and now I think it's pretty good. These songs are best when they're in place in the movie title sequence. So maybe in a few years I'll like it. Not a good first impression though.
-
What happened?
-
Craig has signed up for another two Bond films.
-
Supremacy's good, but it's a bit too out there in places. Also, the lyrics are completely off – Muse, remember, loves referencing conspiracy theories and their politics are almost the direct opposite of Bond's "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" persona.
-
I'd just like to point out that Muse suck shit through an old lady's tights. This Adele song is bland and Bond-by-numbers without any strong melodic hook. But it's still way more appropriate for a new Bond movie than any pompous posh boy wankery by those laughable earnest cunts Muse.
-
Song's kind of okay though. Muse would have ruled.
-
"For Your Eyes Only" was a classic Bond song. I can't say that I recall much about the film itself though.

Shut the fuck up. This is classic Bond Shit. Adele is fucking great too, so shut your fucking mouth. Seriously. You wish she could read you a bedtime story, and sing you a lullaby to sleep. IFS=Internet Fuckface Syndrome. You Haters, have it. Big Time. This is a GOOD Song.
-
I recall that there was a lot of hate for You Know My Name here when it was put on this site. That's in my top 4 favourite Bond themes (the others being Live and Let Die, Goldfinger, and You Only Live Twice). Some folks need their tin ears oiled.
-
You people, obviously have not watched many openings to classic Bond films. Go ahead, and wear that pathetic notion on your sleeve. Fuckin' A.

Hey is this the Bond movie where 007 takes an arrow to the knee?
by lv_426
-
Oct. 5, 2012, 4:51 a.m. CST
lv_426 ? What is that? Is that the stupid ass saying from WOW?
by Nichole
Not being a jerk, just never got that, MEME, Or whatever the fuck Arrow to the knee means. Seriously? I know you are smart, please tell me what that means.
-
I don't think certain people realize how the song meshes with the visuals of the opening credits. I'm not the biggest Bond fan, but I'm a fan, and I love all of the openings, and their visuals. Greatest openings, ever. And the Casino Royale opening, was top notch.
-
Listen to the song again, and pay attention to the lyrics. Good James Bond Shit. You may not find it classic, but it is damn Classy. You will in time.
-
And woke up humming it this morning. THAT'S the only measure of whether a damned title song is any good. Fine work. Can't wait. And BTW--I loved "You Know My Name." Jagged, filled with power and pain and the implication that you have no idea who this man is: you know his name, but not Bond himself. Now, we know who and what he is better than ever.
-
What are you up to, Sun. (Wu reference)? Maybe I just haven't seen you:)
-

You Know My Name was the best Bond theme since Live & Let Die.
by i_got_worms
And is still the best of the Craig era. This latest tune is so-so. Very Bond-y, I'll give it that.
-
Oct. 5, 2012, 6:06 a.m. CST
BTW ever heard Johnny Cash's submission for the Thunderball theme?
by i_got_worms
Country & Western and James Bond. It was never going to work.
-
Google it and listen
-
settling for a cawing vulture like Adele for a lullaby, sure *bwahahahaha*

Fuck dying-flutchman -the most overrated talkbacker ever sucks big time!
by Nichole
Are you serious? What is your fucking point? Who do like in music? How old are you? How does this song not fit 007 ? You are either young or ignorant? Which one is it? Fuck ya.
-
Okay Live and Let Die was probably better but only by a bit.
-
Fuck you, let me irradiate what you said: Fuck Adele - this most overrated bitch ever sucks big time! Fuck your internet retarded ass. I will fuck with you if you want. Just got off work. You probably don't know much about that concept.

Pulp did a fantastic version of All Time High on the Shaken & Stirred album
by Tristan
Iggy Pop does We Have All the Time in The World, which is great too. I kind of like it more than the original. trivia: It was used in the closing credits of The Jacket, which featured Daniel Craig.
-
Seriously! On EVERY forum on this site there is SO much hate going round. "This sounds like shit", "this looks like rubbish", "hate it", "Loathe it" etc. Im fucking through with you talkbackers. All you do is hate, hate, hate. And the sad part is that most of you are neckbeard-wearing losers who haven't done anything in your life to make this world a better place.
-
Don't forget about me. I agree with you. I actually think this website and US will recognize and change this. We will kill, the hater mentality.
-
Most of you seem to only have heard the themes from CR and QoS. There are other Bonds-movies you know... Bond-movies have been around since the early 60s. Some theme-songs produced since then are slow, other up-tempo. Just because this isn't fast-paced doesn't make it BAD. "We have all the time in the world" - for instance - isn't a rock song but still very good imo.
-
We all just want to converse, and we all are all just talking film. There IS A Disconnect in Verbal Communication in General with this society. We will figure it out. dont worry too much.

I'd like to know what gold-standard, kickass Bond songs are being used for comparison here...
by Randall Luttenberg
...the playlist of Bond theme songs mostly sucks, so a song doesn't have to hit a very high mark to stand out. Once you get past "Live and Let Die" and "Nobody Does it Better", what have you got? Those two were at least written by strong songwriters. "Goldfinger"? OK, it works because Shirley Bassey had a serious set of pipes, but the song itself is cheesy, on-the-nose, and really has no melody to speak of. The less said about "You Only Live Twice" or "Diamonds Are Forever" or "Die Another Day", the better. "View to a Kill", anyone? At any rate, this is a pretty good tune, lots of atmospherics, and in line with the retro style with state of the art production values of the Daniel Craig rebooted Bond, so it works for me!

Would've much rather Florence And The Machine do a Bond tune. They would've knocked it out of the fucking park.

thanks for asking, man. Been around, still living in the South for another year (can't wait to get back to Cali!) and writing my ass off. Promoting a couple of books, just finished a script (have no idea if it will go, but the producer is the producer on Django Unchained, Reggie Hudlin, so my fingers are crossed!) and looking forward to a busy, happy end of the year. And how are you?
-
Shite. Do you hear me you tasteless American fuckwits? I'm not saying Muse and Florence are shit. I'm saying they are shite. That is 1000% shittier than shit. They are joke bands for cunts who don't really like music in the first place.
-
Not offensive, but simply BLAH. All the orchestration in the world can't make up for a boring tune. I second the notion of a Radiohead theme. Portishead should have done it years ago.

It wasn't bad, but seriously redundant. We get it the movie is called Skyfall
by Wcwlkr
But I really love Adele, and the music was nice. So over repeititous lyrics aside I enjoyed it.
-
But at least it's not fucking Rhiana.
-
Die Another Day
-
It sells the whole song. Like it did for The World is Not Enough and Tomorrow never dies. (Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace had lame titles and lame songs, even if CR is a direct adaptation and one of the best Bond films.) Thank whoever names these things.

Then again, this makes me want to listen to and watch Goldeneye
by David Cloverfield
Best opening song, one of the best songs. "You'll never know, how I watched you from the shadows as a chiiiiiild..." So cheesy, so awesome.
-
It could have been a great, but it falls short as a Bond song. Disappointing.
-

I liked this song. I liked it better the first time I heard it, when it was called...

I realize I'm in the minority, but I think Chris Cornell nailed it.
-

It's decent, change of pace from the other two which I both loved.
by notcher
Yeah, there's too many "Skyfalls" in this song, but overall I like the classic sound to it.
-
this is an instantly forgettable Bond theme. Dull, bland and by the numbers. Wings did the best non John Barry Bond theme and nothing has even come close since.

...before many lines in the song? Have I gone OCD? Is that not distracting to anyone else?

By the way, Peter Skellen's theme song is "I Feel Pretty"!

Thank you so much for reeducating me.

How could you say such a thing, in an AICN Talkback, of all places! But, honestly, I don't think Adele is fat and I would hit that. For sure. And when we break up, she can write a song about me. Win/Win situation.

You're a class A- Troll. Give RL a break.
