The Red Band Trailer For MOVIE 43 Is F-ed Up!!
The Kidd here...
Wow...
Just wow.
There is... I'm not even sure where to begin as to the level of hilarity contained in this red band trailer for MOVIE 43, which features one tremendous cast coming together in order to put...
How does one even begin to explain what's going on here?
Look... if you don't laugh really hard at least once while watching this, I'm pretty sure you're broken.
Terrence Howard and Liev Schreiber steal the show for me.
MOVIE 43 opens on January 25, 2013.

Thank you.
-
And not a real movie, I have no idea what this is about.
-
Shitty region-based video players? Like, actually, what is the point?
-
even though I know the Farrellys (sp?) didn't direct this whole thing, it FEELS to me like one of their "fresh" movies. I got a good laugh out of a lot of that. Gotta say, the blowing the candles out before the blind kid gets to? Rewound that shit 3 times. Rewound?
-
I mean, let's just call a spade a spade

re: "if you don't laugh really hard at least once while watching this, I'm pretty sure you're broken."
by jim
I guess I'm broken. I've been staring at it for 3 minutes now but I just don't see the humour in a black screen with the words "Sorry, this video is unavailable from your location". Maybe it's an anagram for something hilarious?
-
but Terrence Howard was fuckin hilarious!
-
I have no idea what i just watched.
-
http://www.movieweb.com/movie/movie-43/red-band-trailer Fuck region-based video. You can't stop the signal.
-
Terence Howard at the end
-
...´cause I can´t laugh at American Pie with adults? Ooooook.
-
I'll check it out probably

In the tradition of Groove Tube, Kentucky Fried Movie, Amazon Women On The Moon,
by schadenfreudian
I'm encouraged by what I saw here. Carry on...

Now we have Richard Gere and Liev Schreiber acting in an Adam Sandler type movie?
by HoLottaMo
yeah - Gerard Butler as a leprechaun is amusing but the rest is the same old same old. Seriously - there are better ways to spend $ folks
-
It's called Amazon Women on the Moon.
-
Oh Yes! I am in pain!
-
so I guess it's an all star studded piece of crap!
-
and it was FANTASTIC. A couple of the sections dragged a little, but yes, it is Kentucky Fried Movie style. Sketch Comedy movie. The weakest part was how they tied all the stories together, but judging from that trailer looks like they changed that. i laughed my ass off. So glad it's finally coming out.

I read that it's about some kids trying to find the elusive Movie 43 online.
by kindofabigdeal
Instead they come across all these random skits and hilarity ensues. I for one, will have a great time at the movies when I sneak a 5th in there with me. If you can't just enjoy this for what it is then fuck you. To the Kentucky Fried Movie comments, the producer said that he wanted to do something in the spirity of KFM and it looks like they succeeded. I just hope the rest keeps the funny going. Some gags did look dumb, but could be funny with the right amount of alcohol.
-
I did find it funny
-
Didn't laugh, but then I rarely do on my own in front of a laptop. Perhaps in a crowded cinema full of like-minded people I will. When's this out in the UK?
-
In the screening I saw was a crazy writer Dennis Quaid holding film producer Greg Kinnear hostage and pitching him movie ideas.
-
and know the audiences want to see their celebs do filthy naughty things with their mouths..i say to this... BRING IT ON
-
I didn´t find it THAT funny. I mean, it´s all kinda preschool thing, eh? I liked the poop joke, but only because of the actor´s reaction. And als because I´m into that stuff, too. Yeah, baby.
-
Also, Liev Schreiber was the best thing about The Ten. He can be a extremely funny.
-
Guess I'm broken, too. Then again, I'll have to admit that over the last, maybe, 7 or 8 years I've sat in rooms with people generally 5 - 7 years younger than I am (I'm pretty much the old man of the group) and watched them piss themselves over movies like The Hang Over and Inglorious Basterds, and I twas all I could do to keep from falling asleep. I'm not saying these movies weren't funny. I'm just saying that from what I've seen from most of the trailers, clips, and movies I've sat through during the last few years, I find very little worth watching these days. Makes sense, since most of the stuff that's out there is geared towards the age I was when I was a 3 - 5 movie a month guy...
-
as a director of one of the shorts... ruined it for me, now I know it's not funny...
-
and the cast and producers are already known
-

and if you havent see groove tube or kentucky fried movie....do so now
by walt
-
I laughed at the last line... 'the Lord did his part already... he made you black... he gave you a foot and a half dick... dribble with that mother f&$#er.'
-
since it seems region based here.
-
... by all the fucking negative, or simply unenthusiastic comments on this thread! What the fuck, people?!! This thing should be tailor made for the AICN crowd. Yeah, it is like a contemporary Kentucky Fried Movie or Groove Tube and that's a great thing. By their very nature these movies are uneven, but just look at the level of talent involved, man! And don't try to compare it with shit like Scary Movie, or whatever. This looks like good, dumb comedy done by intelligent, talented people cutting loose in a way we pretty much NEVER see them, or likely ever will again. Naomi Watt's bumping into her son on the stairs and calling him "fuckface"?!! -- C'mon, you douches, lighten the fuck up! I laughed my ass off right at my desk at work. If you didn't, you may not be broken, but your funnybone has atrophied, sure as shit.
-
I'll agree that Inglourious Basterds wasn't particularly funny.
-
Couldn't stand "American Pie" (I still remember that lame joke of the girl spitting cum into someone's beer and thinking, wow, so that's humour now), felt that "Hangover" was a way for people to relive their Vegas trips (a place I deplore) and for the most part, haven't been impressed with a balls-out comedy in ages. But I watched KFM recently and I'm in the mood, and this looks fantastic. Great concepts, hopefully good stories embedded within outrageousness...I'm in. It's also great to see celebs acting just as retarded as the rest of us, we need some lowbrow, famous-people levity right about now.

I smiled throughout, but the best part was Terrence Howard at the end. LMAO!!
by adeceasedfan
-
I chuckled when Halle Berry blew out the candles, but the rest was pretty sub-moronic and should probably be irreparably dated by 2014.
-
....has NO ONE here mentioned the fact that Chloe Moretz is doing a "first period" bit in this movie? 'Cause, you know.......CARRIE......anyone?
-
Oct. 3, 2012, 4:10 p.m. CST
Wait, this is seriously a proper film?? I thought it was just another faux-trailer like what Kimmel did with "Movie: The Movie" last year
by TheSeeker7
-
This might actually be funny. A comedy that doesnt suck???
-
Johnny Knoxville's delivery of that line sold me on the leprechaun bit. And the basketball skit writes itself and would be hard to screw up.
-
Love that lady. So good at doing her thing. Plus, leprechauns, Liev Schrieber, and dick-dribbling. $OLD!
-

It's several shorts from different directors. Ratner directed the leprechaun.
by Mennen
Seriously.
-
I didn't laugh... but I didn't think it wasn't funny either. My gut reaction was more shock at seeing actors I really like doing what is essentially 'Scary Movie' on steroids. I guess I'll be seeing it, if only for more of that rare 'WTF' essence you can normally only get from repulsive films that lack any redeeming qualities, and only RARELY seen in films that genuinely entertain. Just sayin'
-
Oct. 3, 2012, 5:01 p.m. CST
Well, if we're going to compare this to the mighty 'The Kentucky Fried Movie'...
by Bill C.
...does that potentially make the basketball sketch its 'A Fistful of Yen'? (Honestly, though, even over Terrence Howard and Gerard Butler, this trailer had me at the utterly deadpan shots of Richard Gere. I will so watch this just to go "Man, what the HELL are you doing in this movie?")

What's the difference between a lightbulb and a pregnant woman?
by lochkray
Some of the comments in this thread remind me of the movie My Blue Heaven, with Steve Martin. He makes a comment about how everybody thinks they have a sense of humor, but some people just don't. They cannot detect the humor in a situation, and believe it to be absent. But EVERYBODY thinks they have a good sense of humor. And, just like a person who believes they can smell, but can't, walking into a kitchen, probably thinks everybody going on about how nice the cookies smell are morons. So we can see how people find Anna Ferris wanting to defecate on a person is not funny, or a family of a home school child treating him like high school assholes is not funny, or the stubby hand joke isn't funny. Some people just can't smell the cookies.
-
You can unscrew a lightbulb.

QUOTING LINES FROM THE VIDEO ABOVE WON'T MAKE ANYONE HERE HOWL WITH LAUGHTER
by IAmTommyWiseau
Christ almighty. Why do people do that shit? They do it on Youtube too. The comments are all filled with quotes from the video you've literally just watched. Even worse when one of them gets 43 people thumbing it up.

"Fear of a Black Hat" cracked me up. NWH!

But that was the stupidest shit I've seen on here in a while. Holy crap what are you people? 9?

Comedy Event Horizon -- iBabe + Chloe Moretz's period panic + Gerard Butler as a leprechaun.
by Baked
They weren't funny individually, but somehow the time bomb of the leprechaun absurdity with momentum from Chloe Moretz playing straight woman to two teenage boys' period freakout to Richard Gere soberly considering a naked woman in a box with a meat grinder in her vagina made me chuckle. Unfortunately, they won't all be cut together like that, so it may fall flat on its face.
-
This maybe it.
-
And the huge cast that popped up after the obvious Anna Faris. That shouldve helped... But not one laugh... fuck...
-
I guess comedy is just screaming "DICK" into the camera now? Poop on me? Seriously? Sorry, maybe if I was fuckin' 11 that would be fucking funny. On that note I'm sure plenty on these boards just laughed their fucking balls off.
-
Pretty much sums up everything that is wrong with the current mainstream cinema approach to so called comedy.
-
What is this supposed to be about? Is it just a series of unconnected skits? I must be broken.
-
...but I, like many up above LOVED Terence Howard at the end.
-
I'm European.
-
I won't pay to see it, of course. But I might check it out online if it gets decent reviews...

How did they convince all those actors to participate in this movie? Did they blackmail them or something?
by Mr. Pricklepants
-
Where are the days of Police Squad, Flying High (Airplane!), Naked Gun where you could have gutbustin' funny shit that wasn't ALL the TIME about gross bodily functions. They had some double entendres and innuendo but they could be funny without being crass. And if you HAVE to be really foulmouthed, take the 'TED' route where it's at least clever. This was like watching some new spawn from the guys of SCary Movie and shit...
-
Maybe not, but I know dogshit when I see it. People can have different tastes without someone calling them physically deficient for not laughing at one of the least funny trailers around. Any comedy with "Movie" is the title (barring KFM) has been dross.

A total pass from me. As for comparisons, it makes me think of that horrible-looking "movie" I can't remember the name of that they tried to sell you on late night TV that was TOO GRISS FOR THEATERS! TOO INSANE TO BELIEVE with the guy in sparkly green outfit and mime makeup.

I don't know why I'm surprised. The trolls hate everything. This is their one chance to think they are cool, so they tear everything posted apart because mom won't let them steer the cart when the family goes food shopping. This is their chance to piss people off. I bet 99% of the trolls above would get their ass kicked by a 12-year old girl. The other 1% are too fat to get off their computer bench. I said it Super trolls.....go f$%$k! yourselves. For the rest of the community, enjoy the clip, its funny as hell. The trailer made me laugh a lot.

Oh, how I laughed. That timing -Namaste-

I think your name gives away your state of mind while watching this POS.
