airing December 21. Kind of late for new shows, generally. Add the possibility that the baseball playoffs will probably occupy the show's timeslot a couple of times in October, and there's no way unless they double-up some weeks. However, to do that, they'd need to be very close to finished filming by now - anyone know if that's the case? I'd guess 8 episodes between now and early December, then the remaining 5 either beginning with February sweeps, or having the finale coincide with sweeps.

I read some where that theres actually 2 breaks. I think one is 2 weeks and the other is a month or something like that, with it ending in February. My guess is a baseball break and a Christmas break.? As for the talkback Herc kindly created a Fringe focued talkback!

Oddly enough, his list of the ratings isn't even accurate: For instance, Bill O'Reilly pulled a much better rating that Rachel Maddow last night. Herc won't believe it. And, of course, he won't include any citation for where he gets his "numbers" either. Herc's are based on adults 18-49, which is clearly marked. I believe the ones you quoted are total viewers. If I'm not mistaken, Herc's numbers are also share numbers, not the number of total viewers, but I could be wrong on that. Hopefully Herc will set the record straight. Also not surprised to see this board so slow since Maher isn't on tonight.

And the fact that you think he's "cooking the books," as it were, when it comes to her ratings is pretty laughable. Kind of sucks there's no new "Real Time" tonight. Romney's campaign -- if you can even call it a campaign at this point -- has provided some excellent comedy fodder this past week. Looking FORWARD to next week's episode, though, which will no doubt focus heavily on Wednesday's debate.

Anything she says has little to no influence on anyone. She has like five viewers and absolutely no relevance or influence when it comes to the general public -- liberal or conservative or otherwise. And Olbermann has dropped off the face of the earth. Seriously ... why do you give a fuck about either of them? Or even Maher, who has only slightly more notoriety. The only reason Maddow or anyone else is talking about the airplane windows gaffe is because Romney keeps making stupid comments rather than offering up any specific -- or even half-specific -- policies for any of the key issues. In the void of any substantive policies, talking heads like Maddow have nothing to report other than insignificant, meaningless shit like the car-roof dog kennel and airplane windows. You hardcore right-leaning conservatives are getting increasingly agitated as it becomes more apparent Mitt has a snowball's chance in hell of winning, and I worry about your collective health. High blood pressure and overwhelming stress is bad for you. Just relax and get comfortable with the fact that Obama will be our president for another four years. Realize that it will have little to no direct effect on your life, though you likely will pay less in taxes and, within a couple years, you'll be able to engage in all the recreational marijuana use you want.
