Jim Carrey Is Already Kicking Ass On The Set Of KICK-ASS 2!!
The Kidd here...
I'll admit to being extremely curious to see how Jim Carrey would fit inside the world of KICK-ASS 2, and, while I thought his outside-the-box casting could play very nicely for him and the film, I honestly didn't expect he'd look this good as Colonel Stars in the sequel.
Courtesy of The Sun, a pair of set pics circulated over the weekend of Carrey in full Colonel gear, alongside Aaron Johnson in his heroic outfit, and, needless to say, it really does seem like a nice fit for Carrey appearance-wise. Now it's up to Jeff Wadlow to keep Carrey on a tight leash performance-wise, so the movie doesn't get away from him.

The first one was suprisingly decent. And way better than the comic a rarity. The 2nd comic series was horrendous, so if it can improve on that I'm ok.

...then incorperating Kick Ass 2 for the final third. Kick Ass 2 was a woefull piece off flannel in some parts, can't see the film makers including the shooting of children and gang rape by the Motherfuckers crew. I imagine that Colonel Star and his dog will probably have a slightly different end...

The first Kick Ass was great. A hell of lot better than Mr. Poppers Penguins, Yes Man, Number 23, or any of the other shite Carrey's been churning out for the last ten years. But not I Love You Phillip Morris. That movie kicked ass.

If this is some "aren't American's stupid" shit from Jim Carrey then I'm writing him off forever. The Majestic was dogshit. It's all part of commie Hollywood's plan to pretend that commies don't exist. And then comes Carrey's interview about Barrack Hussien where he confesses to wanting to suck his dick or practically does. He couldn't even say why he likes him. He just gushed about how awesome he is just cause he's awesome. I guess cause he wouldn't want to come out and say, "cause he's a commie just like us douchebags in Hollywood."

I was on a site earlier today with a ton of these pics....with several other characters as well. A bit too much of Kick Ass' moose knuckle than I would prefer....but other good character photos.

I wish they had waited for Matthew Vaughn to direct this, as I'm worried about his absence from this. With Vaughn directing - awesome movie. Without Vaughn directing - just a "good" movie.

Bigger and heavier than a pick handle. Ax handles are usually lighter and curved. Most all are made from some dense and strong hardwood. That is, real ones are. Don't know what a prop version might be made of.

I still remember Harry's glowing early review at the end of 09....then he forgot about it for his 2010 lists… For the record Harry….Kicks Ass owned Scott Pilgrim. But I’m a bit worried since the Kick Ass 2 comic appears to have sucked based on today’s feedback…..

It had an interesting premise, but it forgets about it halfway into the movie. Then, the thing completely jumps the shark with the jet-pack finale.

Cuz he enjoyed watching it? I went and saw "Scott Pilgrim" five times (six if you count seeing it at the Edgar Wright event in SF a year or two later), and I enjoyed it every single time. Sometimes people like movies a lot. Often people who read and post on movie sites. Weird.
