An Ode To Your Favorite Creature Could Win You THE CABIN IN THE WOODS On Blu-ray!!

The Kidd here...

We had to wait far too long for THE CABIN IN THE WOODS to finally come our way, but earlier this year we learned that it was worth it, as Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon delivered a fresh spin on the familiar conventions that have populated horror over the years.

Now you have a chance to have it all to yourself with THE CABIN IN THE WOODS arriving on Blu-ray and DVD today, finally keeping that digital copy that was made available early a bit of company. In order to commemorate the occasion, I've got FIVE Blu-ray copies of CABIN to make available to you.

So how do you take your best shot at winning one of these bad boys? Well, you're going to need to have seen the movie already in order to proceed. If you haven't, I suggest you avert your eyes moving forward, as we head into some SPOILER TERRITORY.

Then answer in 200 words or less the following - which creature would you have preferred been chosen by the cabin's visitors, and why?

If you want to lay out what might have been cooler kills in your book, be my guest. If you want to tell me all about the more exciting visuals your choice would have produced, that's all you. However, you're going to have to sell me on why your creature would have made for a better film than the zombie redneck torture family on record.

You can use the Big Board for help, although I believe there are a few we don't see picked in the pool that still get unleashed when the shit really hits the fan in CABIN.

The five best are taking home THE CABIN IN THE WOODS on Blu-ray.

In the body of your email, send your name, mailing address and choice to Contests@AintItCool.com with the following subject line exactly (in all CAPS):

I'VE GOT A HUSBAND BULGE

If you're missing any of the information I'm asking for, then it's as if you don't even have an entry, no matter how good it may have been. And you've only got ONE shot at this, as only ONE entry is permitted per person. That means if you do it wrong the first time and need to resend it, that's TWO entries, and you're out.

Entries will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, September 21, and this contest is available to residents of both the U.S. and Canada.

Good luck to you all, and thanks to Lionsgate Home Entertainment for this awesome opportunity to own THE CABIN IN THE WOODS.
