The chaos of “Big Brother’s” Thursday double-eviction (of Beast Frank and Chef Joe) brings tonight the rare Sunday HoH competition. Spoilers for tonight’s and this coming Wednesday’s episodes reside in invisotext. The wily Ian snagged HoH again. We’ll see him tonight nominate Jenn and Shane for eviction. On Wednesday’s special eviction show, Shane will win the Veto and take himself off the block. We do not yet know who Ian will name as replacement.
Will Ian choose Dan or Danielle as replacement nominee to sit beside Jenn?
If Ian nominates Danielle (who’s super-tight with both her ex-coach Dan and her bedmate Shane), Jenn is out the door for certain. But if Ian nominates Dan, Shane and Ian might conspire to get Dan (a HUGE threat since I think the jury can’t help but admire Dan’s miraculous comeback) eliminated. I think Ian should push out Dan and make sure he wins another veto next week.
After tonight, only four 2012 “Big Brother” episodes remain.
Last Sunday’s 99th “Weeds” felt like it was written the week Showtime announced this would be the show’s final season. Nancy and Andy Botwin both abruptly realized their new loves were not for them? Silas lost his R&D job? And tonight’s almost-last episode ever returns Nancy, Andy and Silas to Regrestic (the former Agrestic)?
Romany Malco is in tonight’s installment. Is that Elizabeth Perkins making out with Hunter Parrish? Is Albert Brooks going to show up too?
My heart tells me Nancy will finally fall good and hard for brother-in-law Andy before next week’s hour-long series finale, titled “It’s Time,” concludes. I hope that finale telescopes into the future to show us what became of Silas, Strange and Doug.

Nancy, Andy and Silas take a trip. Shane is busted for stealing property off the impound lot. Meanwhile, Doug gives up on his charity and decides to pursue a bigger, more lucrative scheme.

The downtick for the 2012 finale of "Breaking Bad" is unexpected. I guess HBO was wise to steer clear of Labor Day weekend.
