Huh?? JUSTIFIED Mastermind Graham Yost Developing A Second Period Spy Drama??

I am – Hercules!!

“Justified” mastermind Graham Yost has one period spy series in production at FX, and now he’s developing a second one for NBC.

FX’s “The Americans,” produced by Yost and set in the 1980s, will star Keri Russell (“Felicity,” “Mission Impossible III”) and Matthew Rhys (“Brothers & Sisters”) as a pair of KGB agents posing as American marrieds in Washington, D.C.

NBC’s “L.A. Woman,” with a pilot script written by Yost, would follow a female spy based in 1970s Los Angeles.

Yost is no stranger to NBC, having created 2002’s “Boomtown” (starring “Justified” villain Neal McDonough) and 2007’s Jeff Goldblum detective drama “Raines” for the network.

Yost also penned scripts for big-screen projects like “Speed,” “Broken Arrow” (which gave Ain’t It Cool its name), “Hard Rain,” “Mission To Mars,” and “The Last Castle.” He’s also a favorite over at HBO, where he scripted episodes of the Tom Hanks miniseries “Band of Brothers,” “From The Earth To The Moon” and “The Pacific.”
