Season 2 adhered to the time honored tradition in zombie films..the fortress, and the bickering philosophies of what to do.

It goes back to the farmhouse in the original Night Of The Living Dead. I wouldn't say it was a boring season, but they could have found Sophia a good episode or two earlier, and moved the story along faster.

Doesn't bug me, but I thought I'd mention it since I noticed it around the same time people began complaining about "Expand All" not working. I'd guess it's not a coincidence, that there is a connection.

This is the best part of the comics. My question is how long they'll stick with the prison/woodbury arc. It probably requires 2 seasons but I'd like to see them do it in one.

Clearly you haven't heard of the book Death Troopers, which is in fact a Star Wars zombie novel. It's pretty bad, but an entertaining kind of bad.

I don't think It's official yet but I read that Glen Mazzara (current showrunner) could see them doing two seasons in the prison. Now on another note, have they cast Axel yet?

Doubtful. In the comics, they had to deal with TONS of walkers when arriving at the prison. And the trailer for S3 shows alot of zombie action.

but they're not following the comic except for basic plot movements, ie they're going to a prison and there's a governor. The governor plot arc was pretty cool, but if you think you're going to get anything like it on screen then I think you'll be disappointed. There's a corridor set that is going to get used again and again and again....

They'll have to tone the violence and themes from the comic WAY down in order to get half of the Woodbury/Prison arc made into something that can be aired on television. When they do inevitably have to make it suitable for TV audiences, people will complain that they've sold out or gone soft. Me personally, I wouldn't want to see some of the stuff from that part of the comic brought to life on TV.

While I'm definitely excited for more Walking Dead, I can't decide if I want AMC to continue with Talking Dead after each episode

It seems to me that The Walking Dead is pretty straightforward in its storytelling, while other AMC shows with more complex layers and twists like Breaking Bad and Mad Men, or when The Killing was on, would be more justified in having a supplemental show to talk about the recent episode. The Talking Dead usually just ends up being nerdgasms along the line of, *oh my God, did you see how that zombie's head exploded?*
