Only in the movies does anything remotely interesting happen at a high school reunion. In most cases, people don't even go to them anymore, because, if you really wanted to see what people you went to high school were still doing with their lives, you would have made much more of an effort to stay friends with them. You may consider going, so you can feel better about your life, seeing that the people you hated in high school are still doing the same stupid shit they did then, only now years down the line... only what if they went on to riches and bitches and are still the same douchebags now that they were then, only they've been rewarded for it? Oh, fuck those people.
10 YEARS is the latest to enter the realm of the high school reunion, and, while it may be nice to reminisce with some of your old friends about how life used to be, you don't need 10 years or a reunion to do that anymore. Facebook allows us to coordinate such get-togethers, and only with the people we actually want to catch up with. That said, there's a sweetness in traveling down memory lane in this trailer (via Yahoo!), because we can identify with quite a few of these characters. We may not be willing to deal with any of the unresolved issues that come back to the surface so publicly like they do, but I get the feeling that's what'll make this an interesting watch.
