We’re probably going to discuss whether ABC Family’s “Bunheads” is still better than HBO’s “The Newsroom.”
We may talk about the British Film Institute elevating “Vertigo” (directed by a dirty foreigner) over “Citizen Kane” (directed by the visionary American Orson Welles).
We’re also maybe going to finally talk about the autumn movies we’re most excited about.
Then there’s this whole issue regarding my poodle’s love of sockballs.

Kern needs to refer to himself as Kern at least sometimes and not K.E.R.N every time. It makes for better, less rote, radio if he mixes it up a little! Other than that it's a great show and i am curious as to what stephanie diaz looks like. Hey, Herc, throw us male fans a bone and post a pic!

Thanks to : Regal Cinemas First Look at Bunheads. The beautiful and incredibly talented Sutton Foster. The potential of downing a shot of something clear and burning, every time someone mentions Bunheads on Ask Mr. K.E.R.N. The enthusiastic recommendation from Ms. Stefani Dias (who's a cutie, rben.) and The overwhelming, incessant gushing by the incorrigible, yet lovable Hercules the Strong. I might check it out on Netflix...maybe.

My week just got significantly crappier. One top of losing my mom last week, my dog just died. She might have been poisoned. I'm gonna need some cheering up, so I'm making a point of actually being here this evening. Oh and... Nothing sounds better to me right now than watching Bunheads with a poodle. Real men watch Bunheads. First of all... dancers... female... a hot lead actress... maybe some of the dancers are young-ish, but the main ones are probably all 23-ish. I blame TV for making me assume every 24 year old I meet is 17. It started with the 30-somethings on 90210. Downhill from there.

Sorry. You may have misunderstood my point. I suppose it looks a little back handed. It's impossible to convey tone via text and I do appreciate links that give insight to your interests. These things create a more complete picture of who we communicate with. My suggestion was merely a comment on last week's youtubin'© which was not a problem per se, but a bit unusual during the show. Or maybe I'm just an asshole.

I found the Gangnam Style video by accident. I was checking out the Bungie website (http://www.bungie.net/) and it was posted in there. I guess by one of the programers. Maybe they're from Korea. Anyway, I haven't been on that site in over a year. Just a happy accident. My music tastes are kinda weird yet basic. If I like it, I like it. While I was at work today, my computer was blasting stuff from these guys: Stevie Ray Vaughn, The J. Giels Band, The Traveling Wilburys, Devo, Weird Al Yankovic, Dire Straits, David Bowie, Van Halen, Aerosmith, CCR, ZZ Top, and Steven Wright (yes, the comedian.). I guess you never know where you'll end up when you're messing around on the internet. I never listened to Korean music even when my carrier was there for a few days back in '89. Go figure.

before i speak out of turn again. (as soon as i figure out what channel it's on, and when it's on...) But i own wayyyy too many tv series and movies that i haven't gotten to yet so i'm not sure when i'll get to Bunheads. (just completed my Tales of the Darkside collection and got two One Step Beyond best-ofs.) oh, and picked up three discounted movies at fye's (Horrible Bosses, Attack the Block and Army of Darkness.) oh, and i grew up with German Shephards (and cats) so i guess i'm biased. Talkbacker thulsaboom in the LAST STAND article suggested Arnold Schwarzenegger for THANOS. As far as I am aware he was the first to do so, but no matter I think it's bloody brilliant. If any of you regulars pop in, I wanna know what you think?

I've been thinking about this all day probably because of all the Arnold news. I imagine some effects put on his voice like Thanos' servant would work. Given the right script and direction I think Arnold's got it in him to be a menacing character. Think of Terminator instead of Batman and Robin. Wishful thinking. Fingers crossed.
