    Voyager

If I ever write my own tv series in outer space, I'm going to have it be about a bunch of geeks who have their own spaceship and they still end up watching star trek because they don't know what else to do...

    Mira, oh Mira...

    by agentcooper

...I do so love Miss Sorvino. Why can't she find a good role??? She's gorgeous, an Oscar winning actress, smart, and yet, she keeps appearing in clunkers. The Replacement Killers was putrid (yes, Chow Yun Fat is cool, but the movie was terrible) nobody saw Mimic, which wasn't bad, Romie and Michelle was only half a good movie, and I just couldn't bring myself to see Summer of Sam, I heard too many bad things about it. I think maybe Quentin was giving her career advice, which worked for Travolta, but not for Mira. Please, Producers, give this lovely woman a good role!!! By the way, Conan's other guest, Jack Black, did indeed steal many scenes in High Fidelity and is on the fast track to be a major comedy star. I must agree with the Mighty Hercules, go see HF this weekend. It is one of those rare films where talent, script, and direction all gel to make a very smart, very funny experience.

Though I have always loved Trek (in all its incarnations), I do have to admit Voyager is the worse - I really don't care about the characters and am really tired of their whining - hopefully in the next series the people who are in charge of this ailing cash cow will give us some characters that are strong, vibrant, complex and fun to watch... Other than The Doctor and Seven's chest, what else is worth watching on Voyager?

    Voyager: Just Kill It Already!

    by gothmog

I just watched this week's Voyager in which a trio of con artists run about the Delta Quadrant posing as the Voyager crew and stealing from all they meet. What a crap show - the animated series had better plots. I couldn't help but think that this is the 24th Century version of thus guys that go about bilking old ladies to reseal their driveways, then never show up to do the work. I guess this was a big "message" show - "cheating people is bad." Which is how I feel about Voyager - it puts on Starfleet uniforms (and ears and foreheads) and poses as Trek when we all know it's an imposter.

hey, get off voyager, you fucks

    by die_harry_die

i'm really tired of people getting on voyager. it's better than that turd deep space crap and its religion and prophets and bullshitness. everybody seems to think ds9 is some genius creation just because it dragged on and on and on about the same bullshit without an end. voyager's characters are much better than ds9's annoying idiots. everytime i see ds9 show up on screen, i flick off. it's the only trek show i hate. since i'm not one of those guys that actually comes back and re-reads what people say regarding their own posts: for all those who'll eventually disagree -- go to hell and die.

    voyager rules!

    by thetemplar

And I'm a fat liar! Voyager stinks on ice. Think I'll watch Farscape tonight though. New episodes of the West Wing? Holy shit! Will these be shown in a row, or will NBC show one every four weeks as seems to be their usual practice these days. What the hell is their problem? It seems like they only show a new episode every couple of weeks (and that goes for law and order too). Hell, I think they have only shown four episodes since new years. Have they cut back to 16 episodes a season or something?

    DS9 rules!

    by martokrules

Um.....Deep Space Nine is not crap. And it's characters are not idiots. DS9 is one of the best Trek series ever put on the air, with intelligent plotlines and good stories. Voyager isn't so bad either. So sure me if I'm not a naysayer.

Um....Deep Space Nine is not crap. And its characters are not idiots. It was one of the best Trek series on the air. This was a series that required a lot of intelligence to appreciate it, it was defintely more mature, grown up than NextGen. And Voyager wasn't so bad, either. So sue me if I'm not a naysayer.
