Here's The SKYFALL 30-Second Olympic Trailer!
Nordling here.
Here's the commercial that played during the Olympics' opening ceremonies - not much here but a couple of flash cuts, and no hint of a story, just Bond being the bad ass that we know and love. Gotta love Daniel Craig adjusting his cuffs after escaping a serious-looking train derailment. Pure Bond. Enjoy:
SKYFALL opens this November.

Quantum felt like a bridge between stories. Wasn't horrible. What really pissed me off, was the poster had him holding that bad-ass gun from the end of the first film Wasn't even in the Fucking film. Fuck that. I was getting Escape From New York excited, and got nothing. Lying ass poster.

Which was to make lots of money in which it did.$586 million to be exact.

Hans Zimmer Is Giving You A Reason To Help Those In Aurora, Colorado!!
by virgin_eyeballs
Jesus FUCKING Christ on a motorized dildo. Has it really gotten so bad that I need a reason to help those in Aurora other than them getting shot? I thought that was enough, but if Hans Zimmer is making some music, than I guess I should REALLY help. Kidd, your headline is at worst disgusting, at most misguided. Zimmer didn't give us a reason to help. A nutjob who injured and killed several people did. I appreciate what Zimmer is doing, but your headline needs some SERIOUS attention. People have lost their families, their loved ones, and their lives, and our reason to help is a fucking song?
-
The Killing of America on youtube. Just type in the title and uncut. Trippy real life footage. Seems like early COPS episodes mixed with faces of death. Interesting footage, because it is from 1982. Shows 42nd street, showing Shogun Assassin on the marquee. anywhoo, proceed with 007.

Think he meant to write 'way' rather than 'reason'. Could do with being changed right enough.

After the Quantum of Solace I'll never pay for another Daniel Craig Bond Film
by ganymede3010
They have completely ruined the character. Bond is about being extremely tactful and measured, a subtle super agent, not a wreck-less brute. I hate it that they turned James Bond into Jason Bourne. I like Jason Bourne, however I grew up on James Bond so it's pains me to watch that them completely reconstruct this character in a fail attempt to mimic a franchise that was currently out grossing it. So like little bitches they panicked instead of a hiring an adept writer and director that could do the character some justice. Fuck this franchise for now I'm done with it until the character returns to it's roots.
-
At this point, Bond *isn't* the subtle, suave super spy we've seen before ... This is Bond Begins ... He's a 'blunt instrument' that is refining into a precision instrument ... I suspect in Skyfall and the future bonds we'll see Bond get ever closer to the spy we know ...
-
Well one thing is for sure about new Bond, it's cinematography looks stunning.
-
Did anyone see the Bond video as part of the Opening ceremony where he goes to Buckingham Palace to escort thevQueen to the stadium? Brilliant...didn't think it would be the actual Queen, but fair play to her, she got right in to it.. "Good Evening, Mr Bond." Wasn't her parachuting, but was a great video in a superb opening ceremony. Knighthood for Danny Boyle methinks...
-
As a long time Bond fan, I know exactly what you are saying. However, I'm hopeful that after the two-movie arch of the first films, they are now going to develop the character into the suave spy that we know and love. If he continues to be more of a bitter brute, then I'm like you and not too impressed. But if he develops into Bond, James Bond, then things should go nicely. Craig is a good actor. He can pull it off. Make the action a little more discernable, the tools a little more fantastic, the banter a little more witty, and Bond a bit more classy & glib, and things could go very well.

which reminds me of an old joke about guitarists (insert movie nerds for guitarist): How many guitarists does it take to screw in a light bulb? 10. One to change the bulb and 9 to stand around say they could have done it better.
-
Craig's depiction of Bond is very close to how Fleming wrote the character. So, quit your bitchin' and go read the books.
-
The Queen has ruined it for the wannabes out there. Best. Bond. Girl. EVER!!
-
But a noticable lack of Her Majesty in the trailer though.
-
Danny Boyle put on a magical show and should be knighted. Everything that makes me proud to be British was represented. It was funny, excentric, patriotic, ground braking and genius. Just the inventors alone make me proud. The Queen proved she has a sense of humour and Craig was class. I thought Rowan Atkinson stole the show though with Mr Bean. Simple comic genius. Bravo Danny to putting on an incredible show on a 10th of the budget used by Beijing.

He would put together - judging by the trailer- a fantastic balls-to-the-wall Bond movie. But, then i said that about Marc Forster, and look how that turned out. Will be curious to see how Thomas Newman is going to fare in all this, seeing as the music is a vital component in the series. I must admit that, when i heard the title of "Skyfall" i automatically attached it to a straight-to-dvd Van Damme movie - dreadful title, but it grows on me. Oh, well, we shall see if it lives up to it's title come October. "Bond 24" should go to Christopher Nolan - seeing as he is an avid fan of the series...We shall see. Watch this space.

I'm a lifelong Bond fan who revisits the movies with regularity and I can honestly say, without hesitation, Craig is my favorite Bond. The first time I saw it, I left the theater pretty disappointed with QOS. But, my appreciation and understanding has grown tremendously with subsequent viewings and I now consider it among the best of the franchise. Some movies are like that - they're not what you expect and it takes a few viewings to warm you up. That's been my experience with quite a few of my favorite movies. Regardless, SKYFALL looks to be amazing and looks like the Bond film everyone's hoping for.
-
Looks good. Best lead since Connery. A good Bond film is always a combo of a good story (first) and the right actor (second). QOS sucked, so this better be setting things right.
-
studio attempt to send christian bale to visit the victims. could not disguise the fact that this film tanked at the BO. Bale is hated within the industry. Natalie portman hated working with him on thier new film she threatened to quit. Calling him arrogant, tedious.
-
get off her ass she is only forcing herself to stay alive, cuz she doesnt want her twit of a son to become the king
-
Don't believe what that fat little ginger birdie tells you. It's all lies!
-
Craig is looking better and better. He has a kind of "Steve McQueen" intensity in his look and is getting where he can pull of some of those tongue in cheek witticisms that Connery did effortlessly. Don't know about Mendes direction yet, but he's paired himself with an excellent DP in Roger Deakins. There just ain't a better cinematographer out there and this picture already shows it. It's going to look awesome. Nice to see 007 still sporting his PPK as well. And he did use the gun from the poster QOS in the movie. It's an HK UMP 9mm and he shot up his pursuers in the pre-credit sequence with it.

I'm sure this one will be good even thought the last one sucked
by Rupee88
That makes sense, right? It always works out that way. The Titans movie that all of you guys were excited about is just another example. Craig is a good fit for Bond though. If the reviews are stellar, I'll maybe give it a chance but will let the retards go the first night and probably reward bad filmmaking once again.
-

Emeraldboy... the news of Bale visiting victims came from facebook profiles of the families. Also, Natalie Portman never said that...
by Steve
...an anonymous source told the Enquirer that. The Enquirer publishes bullshit stories all the time, you're just clearly supporting your confirmation bias.
-
I saw it again this afternoon, and the theater was packed. And this, on the opening Olympic weekend in the U.K.!! And I understand Christian Bale visited the victims out of his own concern - and even if he went on the studio's behest, it was remarkable of them to even suggest this. Such cynicism.
-
How do you "understand" why Christian Bale does anything? Are you a mind reader with magical powers?? Damn dude you are gullible. I think he probably did visit with the victims to be kind but it's also very possible that the studio wanted him to do it or his publicist said it would be a smart move and make him more $ in the future. Don't believe everything you read, esp when public figures are concerned. They are usually very manipulative with their careers which is how they got there to begin with.

-
I could quote many articles, but I quote this: "Mr. Bale is there as himself, not representing Warner Brothers," a studio rep told The Denver Post. Bale, accompanied by his wife, met with seven victims for over 2 hours. Bale also met with Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper. From: http://uk.ign.com/articles/2012/07/25/batman-star-christian-bale-visits-aurora-survivors Maybe a studio rep did make the statement, but I think that Christian Bale would act on his own volition anyway. Who in their right mind would be that messed-up to attend, in an attempt to try and make more publicity for a movie? Oh, I'm sorry, its a screwed-up world isn't it? And I'm gullible. Why do people even view media like this site, or go to the cinema anyway - I mean, lets face-it, they're all out to get us anyway aren't they?
-

Cliche action pieces and a boring, dour Bond. Love me some Daniel Craig (Dream House, Road to Perdition, Cowboys vs Aliens, etc.) but I just can't buy him as JB. Guess I will just have to continue to wait for the next reboot.
-
Your one of the few that have actually used your mind and saw what they are doing with Bond! Thank you For thinking before speaking!!!!
-
I'm SO tired of all these f-cking retarded internet-haters who cant seem to stop using exaggerated expressions. Just because you didn't think QoS was the best bonds movie out there you don't have to write stuff like "I HATED QoS, WORST movie EVER!!!!!!!". Just because TDKR didn't live up to your impossible high expectations you dont have to write "TDKR sucks all kind of ass!!!!" I wish all these immature Internet-haters could be tracked down and forced to watch the ENTIRE Uwe Boll catalogue, like, 5 times. THEN you would know what a bad movie is. Spoiled, f-cking brats....
-
It's not "a lot less", but it is less. Box Office Mojo has put up a comparison of all the Batman movies (also one against The Avengers). Click on the Daily Box Office tab and you can see, as of Friday, TDK is roughly up $20 million over TDKR. Sure, that's a lot of money, but it is less than a 10% difference. I don't know what number would have made the WB suits happy, but I think you are right, anything less than what TDK made would probably be disappointing.
-
it was a visually outstanding film. Pfister, Corbold and nolan did a great job in terms of the way the movie looked and sounded. The story however was jarring and all over the place.
-
You mean the cameras belonging to the victims who asked "can I get a picture with you?". I guess in this day and age of instant messaging and cameras in every device, there is no such thing as an unselfish act. Not matter what you do, no matter how pure your motive might be, someone somewhere will get a shot of it and put in on the internet. Then your selfless deed is subjected to scrutiny and a theorized agenda of self-promotion is now attached to your act of kindness and charity. Since we are all speculating on Bale's mindset going into it, here's mine: Bale knew his motives would be subject to skepticism, and he did it anyway. He'd rather do something and take the criticism than do nothing (and probably take criticism for that).
-
July 28, 2012, 4:10 p.m. CST
Well, maybe TDKR will make more money internationally than TDK. If fucking Alice in Wonderland and Pirates of the Caribbean 4 can make $1 billion worldwide, TDKR should too.
by Mr. Pricklepants
I don't know if the Olympic Games will have a huge effect on the box office. I guess it'll probably have some effect. And Christian Bale didn't visit the victims of last Friday's tragedy for publicity's sake. He didn't have to do this and I don't think he's the kind of guy who loves attention. Stop being so damn cynical. And why are we talking about TDKR in a James Bond talkback?
-
Just terrible miscasting. The comment that made me laugh was when someone said this is Bond Begins so he hasn't become the smooth Bond we are used to. (1) Daniel Craig looks about a hundred years old so the Bond Begins thing is laughable. If you want to do Bond at the start of his career hire an actor who looks YOUNG rather than a wrinkled Putin lookalike. (2) Craig can never become the smooth Bond we are used to because he looks like a midget nightclub bouncer and has all the charm of a bag of bones. Hate hate hate this reboot and all the pretentious horseshit from fans trying to pretend this is somehow a return to Ian Fleming. It's got nothing to do with Ian Fleming. They just copied the Bourne films and cast an actor looks less like James Bond than just about anyone in the world. What a charmless block of wood this man is with his monotone voice, crammed into ridiculous suits that look three sizes too small for him and running around with his shoe lifts as Bond girls tower over him. And Quantum of Solace wasn't just the worst Bond film ever made, it was one of the worst films ever made PERIOD.
-
but when compared to TDK, which dropped 65% in the same time, it doesn't seem so huge. I agree, it most likely won't do as well as TDK, but simply saying its second Friday grosses are 76% down from its first Friday is a bit misleading. Even The Avengers had a 60+ percentage drop on its second Friday. TDKR is certainly below expectations, but the numbers are not nearly as scary as you would have us believe. Besides, TDK didn't have to compete with the Olympics opening ceremony on its second Friday. Maybe that had some impact on the BO, or maybe not. The final numbers ($18 million yesterday is still "estimated") for the entire weekend will give a better indication at how sturdy TDKR legs are.
-
The only things that would of added to this opening ceremony in my opinion would of been the TARDIS showing up & Doctor Who giving us a wave [I heard The Materialising Sound at one point, didn't all of you???], then disapearing like he made a mistake & this tune playing as a finale after Sir Paul http://tinyurl.com/btppsm5 . Sir Paul may be older & prehaps not as many remember him but he is a Beatle dammit & that is something that means a lot to the world as far as thier view of the United Kingdom. James Bond & The Queen was funny but I must admit seeing her literally picking her nails when Team GB arrived for a good 10 seconds was excruciating, expected in a weird way & completely hilarious. Thet even found room for aphex, that means something to me. I hope we all enjoy the games :>

Didn't it have the highest 2D opening in box office history..something like that. If it fell below YOUR expectations, then that is different (and WGAF), but it's a major success by any measure. I haven't seen it and don't plan to because it looks boring and pretentious but I have to admit that it will clean up at the box office and buy lots of coke and whores for all involved.

to me, anyway. But I don't see that as Craig's fault. I thought Forster was an odd choice for a Bond film director, even at the time, and I had a bad feeling about the movie from the outset, but nonetheless, I tried to go in with an open mind. But I just didn't care for it at all. It felt to me like a cousin to Ang Lee's Hulk - a movie by a great director who knows nothing at all about how to direct big-budget summer blockbuster action movies. But based on what I've seen so far from Skyfall, I'm getting a "back-on-track" vibe. I could be wrong, but I feel a lot more confidence in this movie right now than I did with QoS at this same point. JMO. Also, I still think Craig is the best Bond since Connery, and I've been a Bond fan since I was in junior high. And yes, Craig's Bond is arguably more faithful to the Fleming books than any other Bond with the possible exception of Connery (certainly more so than Moore or Brosnan). So all of these "Craig is too much like Bourne" parrots need to go back, read the original books, and realize how much the Bourne character resembles Fleming's Bond, and not vice versa.
-
This one looks great, so far, though. I am excited to see how it turns out.

Has that been posted on this site yet? Also, I thought DKR was really good. Definitely on par with the other two Nolan movies. Not sure what people are complaining about.

the opening ceremonies was just okay. Craig and Rowan really captured the silliness (camp?) of the best British comedies. the fireworks and the light show was much better in Beijing, and the mass perfomances 4 years ago. will never be touched. Should not have ended with Sir Paul, his voice is going, and Hey Jude is over done. The cover of Come Together was way better. I liked the rumors of the Brit all star band, that disappointingly never materialized. Best song to end it would have been -- Heroes by Bowie really captures the olympic spirit better than Hey Jude. Roger Banister should have lit the flame. Greatest Brit Athlete.

was political. the nhs was very liberal politically as was the inclusion of Shami Chakrabarty as a flag carrier. There was of course political undertones to boyles isle of wonders with its inclusion of the trade union workers.
-
It is amazing, isn't it? My first Bond was "Goldfinger", seen at the Grauman's Chinese, and it was love at first sight, let me tell ya. I think they've been able to go this long because of the very things the Trolls complain about: a continual re-invention, moving from one extreme to another (Daniel Craig is the opposite end of the spectrum from, say, Pierce Brosnan, a "pretty boy" I enjoyed, but never believed for a moment. In comparison, Craig looks like what Bond might have actually been, with Brosnan the guy Hollywood hired to play him on screen). Even more, they are fluid enough to "ape" the cinematic and cultural trends at the time: "Live and Let Die" was blaxploitation. "Man With the Golden Gun" was Kung Fu movies. "Living Daylights" yeilded to a feminist complaint, and had Bond with only one girl. "Quantum of Solace" definitely copied "Bourne" but for Christ sakes--what was "Bourne" copying? There's about a 1 in 676 chance that Robert Ludlum "accidentally" gave Bourne Bond's initials. And let's not forget "Jack Bauer." Oh, please. Bond started it all, and turnabout's fair play. They move back and forth with the political tides, picking up fans here, losing them there...but keeping their core. Quite amazing, really.
-
Cool post! Though I always understood that Bond's lack of shagging in "Living Daylights" a reaction to the then-current fear of AIDS?
-
.......I'm sure the Beijing Olympics had a far bigger opening, but at least the UK opening didn't use CGI-enhanced fireworks, and we didn't "lip-sync" singers deliberately. I know I'm going to be attacked - but hey, that old philosophy of people in glass houses and stones eh?!!
-
The imagery in this trailer is night & day better than the TDKR. If you think TDKRs was 'visually stunning' you are clearly misguided. Here's hoping for a quick reboot w/ lead in to a Justice League film.
-
Sean Connery is still THE MAN, but it's getting closer.
-
I hate the olympics.
-
Firstly, have to say the Bond moment with the Queen at the Olympics opening ceremony was awesome. In fact the whole opening ceremony raised the bar big time. Secondly, I have been avoiding TDKR reviews until last night when I saw it. Just read Harrys review - fucking hell! What an undeserved poison pen letter. A very very good film, imho just a tiny bit weaker than the first two - but only marginally and onl because they were SO good. I would recommend the TDKR to all. Quite simply the best superhero trilogy ever made!
-
so far no medals and we are calling it the lrish games.
-
Easily the best superhero trilogy, and DKR was a great ending. I need to see if the opening ceremony is available on youtube.

Most Bond characters we meet are already fully matured Bonds.
by notcher
Craig's Bond we meet from the start, he seems to have turned a corner at the end of QoS. Having avenged Vesper's death and accepted her "betrayal" will help him become a more mature agent in the following films. Craig may become the more subtle character in the near future, but he has to get there first, and I like seeing this development. There's gotta be a reason for the suave nature and the throwing away of women like they are just sex objects and nothing more. We're learning why, and that's different and cool. The haters can hate, but I still support different ideas and lines of thinking when it comes to these kinds of things, but that's me. BRING IT!!!

Pierce Brosnan, for me, has always been the definitive James Bond
by wcolbert
He just fits the profile better in his appearance (suave, refined, etc), and his approach to the character. Craig's never looked the part - and he plays his Bond with a bit of a brutish, animalistic nature. Which is fine - I just personally prefer Brosnan. Nothing agains Craig. We just all have our own favorite Bonds, do we not? Some of you are Connery guys, some are Craig guys, I 'm a Brosnan guy.
-
It used to be that Bourne was trying to live up to Bond. Now Bond is trying to be Jason Bourne. I think the filmmakers forgot who Bond is. From the beginning James Bond was an espionage character with a healthy sense of humor and sci-fi. Gritty realism was not all that important. Somewhere between Jason Bourne and Austin Powers is where you want this character.
-
You might be right about AIDS. I'm guessing, based upon a couple of things, one of them the fact that Barbara Broccoli was just starting to executive produce when Dalton came in. In the fLiving Daylights, the female lead was a girl next door, and Bonds only conquest. In the second film, License To Kill, there were two women, but Bond was totally sexually passive--the women came on to him. I read this as feminism in action, an attempt to rewrite the character to be more acceptable to women who don't like men. but...that's just me.
-
I really enjoy the Daniel Craig Bond movies (including the oft-AICN maligned "Quantum of Solace"). However, with this new entry, I am worried that the series is moving too far away from made us enjoy the series from the start. Watching a James Bond movie should mostly be, wait for it... FUN! I don't see that in any of the "Skyfall" trailers. Now I don't want to return to the days of James Bond in space or invisible cars, but all I see here is a stoic hit man coming at me. Connery's Bond was dangerous, but I was still able to smile as he went about his business. Craig also did this brilliantly in CASINO ROYALE. I'm not sure this darker path is where I want James Bond to go.

Why not invisible cars? That kind of technology is actually not only feasible, but has been demonstrated to be quite possible
by wcolbert
Just saying :P I don't know why people complained so much about the invisible car ... it's really not that difficult to show a proof of concept - one way to do it would be to film what is behind the vehicle and display it across thousands of tiny led's on the side facing those you would like to avoid seeing you - essentially becoming "invisible" (well, harder to see anyway). Proof of concept is out there - of all the bond tech, that ones' actually the most likely to be a proven technology in a decade or two. There are already tanks being developed that can mask their thermal signature from infrared cameras as well by changing the temperature of the panels to the same as the ambient temperature. Likewise, matching what light is displayed at the front of the vehicle with what is behind it is not impossible. Just tricky. Actually, most of Bond's gadgets either end up being realized sooner or later or end up looking pretty outdated, though they seemed far fetched at the time. Look at his high tech gadgets from the 60's....today, we have pocket calculators with more capabilities.

psh let's not get ahead of ourselves - Bourne was always a wannabe Bond - cool concept, but Bond is for keeps - Bourne will be forgotten in 20 years.
by wcolbert
True story. Just saying.
-
If this is rated R or if a bond movie is ever rated R. I wonder how that would work? Prob be the same if not better. Get an amazing story and we'll be set. I wanta see it happen.
-
Stop this you pathetic trolls. Movie is already past $500 million world wide. Variety said even with the attack on the theater the film is BEATING EXPECTATIONS. Those who say otherwise are bitter little shits that TDKR didn't have the Joker in it or whatever bull shit they are mad about. Ignore these negative posts. They are written by tools.
-
But the last half hour he is fighting a 50 year old out of shape mafia guy and he barely wins. It was still good though. No Gymkata on netflix. I watched Drugstore Cowboy instead. Matt Dillon was killed by the tv baby. Now time to watch something else.

What's being 50 got to do with it? I know of plenty of 50+ year olds who'd kick the bejesus out of guys half their age

He was a 50 year old out of shape guy fighting a ninja
by ajit maholtra
Not just any ninja. Sho Kosugi. It was weird. The 50 year old guy looked like Charles Grodin. But luckily Sho killed him in the end by cutting him in half with a large band saw.
-
And he was the writer of the movie. I guess that's why he was so out of shape.

......whining about Craig not being a cute enough Bond for you! So who would you like, Petey Boy? How about Channing Tatum? Mmmm...what a hunk! Or Liam Hemsworth? He's real pretty! Oh, I know - Rickey Martin! I bit that would thrill your little heart! Look, we know Craig is not everyone's as Bond for various reasons (I like him, but Connery's my favorite). but your constant focus on Craig's looks ("Daniel Craig looks about a hundred years old") and ("he looks like a midget nightclub bouncer") is annoying as Hell!
-
No? Well, it goes like this. Best Connery Bond = Goldfinger Best Moore Bond = The Spy Who Loved Me Best Brosnan Bond = The World is Not Enough. It takes until the third movie for ANY new Bond to "bed in" properly. From what I've seen (and I've been no fan of Craig up to now) this again proves my theory. Finally, I'm looking forward to a Bond film with Daniel Craig in the role. Having said that, I wonder what Dalton's third Bond movie would have been like.....
-
Nice, and spot-on.
-
Not great but not bad, but then again I've seen all the Roger Moore Bonds films, so I know what a Bad Bond film can be.

Connery>Dalton>Moore> Lazenby>Brosnan>Woody Allen>Craig
by peter skellen
Well, Woody is taller than Daniel Craig.
-
he is pure fucking alpha. whilst i loved brosnan as bond, having Craig as bond makes me realise what i was missing, even though i didn't know it at the time.
-
Glad to see you're finally developing a sense of humor, Peter. There's hope for you yet!
-
Craig looks like he lost an acid fight, he ALWAYS looked like he lost an acid fight, which makes him, in the Bond universe, the guy you cast as the villain's second henchman, may-be. (Like Vargas in the film of THUNDERBALL, or the tall guy in the CASINO ROYALE novel.) Craig as Bond is somewhere between Jack Palance and Taylor Negron as 007 in its utter awfulness, JUST ON APPEARANCES. I have massive issues with the movie of CASINO apart even from Craig, like the idea that a spy just goes around killing people to get info off the cellphones of the dead people (like nobody actually MEMORIZES secret shit anymore????!!), which might be why I can somehow find QUANTUM, with its ADD editing put forcibly aside, a lot more enjoyable. But having Craig in the role is basically like Hoffman's look in character in TOOTSIE ... so distracting that you want to put the camera a lot further back, like Cleveland. Plus he is absurdly short. For me it goes in this order ... Connery/Dalton ... ... ... then Brosnan in TAILOR PANAMA, not in any of those badly written real Bond films he did then Moore/Lazenby (the first ever-ridiculous, the second absurd, except for a few brief moments) and then the short ugly guy. Would've been happy with Clive Owen or Christian Bale, or even (if they'd cast CR as it was written, for a young guy, which explains why Bond seems like an immature brat at times) Henry Cavill. Then again, I'd've been happy with Eric Braeden playing Bond from 1969 for the next few decades ... he doesn't have the bookBond of Dalton, but at least he doesn't mess up on the sexuality, which, along with the hairstyling, definitely messes with Dalton's otherwise compelling characterization.
-
So Craig's not pretty enough for you either, huh? If you're a woman, I know a lot of your sisters that would disagree with you, If you're a guy, well..............
-
Also a difference between too pretty and Bond ... Moore's the pity you can't see the obvious middle ground here. My wife prefers Dalton most, along with Connery, even though she first experienced Bond (if you want to call it that) with VIEW TO A KILL. She agrees Craig looks all wrong for Bond, but likes him as an actor (as do I, some of the time) ... I just assume this is the Jack Palance effect (ironically he died just before CR came out - talk about passing the torch!) ... my mother used to go on and on about how sexy Palance was, but it just seemed as WTF to me as say, Loni Anderson. Just something way outside of conventional human appearance in a disconcerting way. But hey, I always liked Bonnie Bedelia and Annette O'Toole (and even Lindsay Wagner ... I can't really figure that one out at all) a helluva lot more than the ones that were SUPPOSED to be sexy. As long as they don't get Chris Pine or Nic Cage as Craig's replacement, I've got to figure the next one will be an upgrade. If he'd take some weight off, I'd even welcome Idris Elba, and that's something I never thought I'd even consider a few years back.
-
If you and your wife BOTH think Craig looks all wrong for Bond, then who am I to disagree? Sorry Trevanian (and Peter!)
-
#fap
-
Looks like someone's uncoupled the carriage, bond uses the digger arm (keys conveniently in ignition?) to grab on before it drifts away, then climbs over it to board the train Looks like practical effects too, always the best way
