i say that with utmost sincerity. a huge waste of money with funds being diverted to motherfucking corporations. It hasn't helped anyone in the local areas, and we;ll be the ones picking up the tab after this shit fest has finished. im 20 minutes down the road form Stratford, and no i didnt watch. the red arrow flyby however, walking down the street and seeing that... that was pretty cool!

And on a sarcastic note- the maidens tossing apples back and forth to each other and catching them with their dresses, was seen by, like nobody in the stadium, right? lots of minute detail that you had to watch a TV screen to see- so there you are, thousands of pounds poorer, watching the opening ceremony in the stadium- and watchng it on a TV monitor, because that is the only way to really be able to see what is going on the ground
