Also, why are the human Prometheus figures bigger than the Engineer figures?
by rev_skarekroe
What's up with that?
-
This summer never recovered from that debacle of a movie
-
Got one here at my desk @ home. Was always amazed at the detail / jaw articulation on this one (as well as the integrity of Giger's design being maintained with the "human" skull shown in the front of the head

@thulsaboom I'm with ya, man. You can't beat the old, cheesy action figures, can ya?
by AlienFanatic
And those Prometheus figures, especially the proto-facehugger, really highlight just how insane Giger's original designs were and how lacking in inspiration the new ones are.

Oh, and just to beat a dead horse, I HATE the proto-Alien. Absolutely loathe it.
by AlienFanatic
I can't believe anyone would buy that and put it on their desk. Maybe if it were a stapler and you could bash it on the head to slam the staple into the paper, it might serve a purpose, but barring that...

Every week a different person could come in to the library looking for some information, and each time she'd tell them it didn't exist. Then they would always find it elsewhere anyway.
-
At the end it would turn out it's the library from "Silence in the Library," and she'd be devoured by Vashta Nerada.
-
The movie ones are okay, but I want me a comic-accurate Nite Owl!!! Oh, and Owl Ship, please.
-
I'm not sure where to go with the second season. Maybe Jar Jar as a comedically bumbling librarian. Assuming Jar Jar isn't too bust filming the 73-second epic ALIEN VERSUS GUNGAN.
-
I meant "busy." Though perhaps "bust" is more accurate.
