J-Lo Says She’s Done
With AMERICAN IDOL Too!!
The morning after Fox announced Steven Tyler was done with “American Idol,” Jennifer Lopez went on Ryan Seacrest’s horrible radio show Friday to say she felt it was time for her to move on as well.
“She remained open to returning for the first episode of the show's next season,” related The Wrap’s Tim Molloy. “But she said her children and career goals didn't leave her time to return full time.”
"Something has to give, and that's, I think, where I am right now," she told Seacrest. "I honestly feel like the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other the things that I have to do, that I've put kind of on hold because I love 'Idol' so much."
Word is Randy Jackson’s management client Mariah Carey could be joining the judging panel this autumn.

If Fox dumped cash on them, they'd be back for this cake walk gig. Fox found out they aren't worth it, so they are letting both back out on their own terms to save face. Bottom line - THEY DIDN'T BRING IN RATINGS.

He's mean, and his attempts at pimping certain songs in rehearsals because he gets a cut of the royalties has become quite pathetic. He's not that good an actor and the kids see right through him. Dude, Lopez is still SCORCHING HOT. She's hotter at 42 than most actresses half her age. I know she hasn't appeared in a good movie since Out Of Sight, but she's aged SPECTACULARLY well. Maybe it's a Latina thing...Salma Hayek is 45(!) and still looks like she's 30.

But some of the singers the past couple years have been pretty good (IE: Haley Reinhart, Phil Philips). Mariah Carey > HHHHHenifer Lopez At least Mariah can sing and has an accomplished career under her belt. Jon Bon Jovi should replace Tyler. He's about 50% less creepy, but still quite capable of committing statutory rape. Between Jovi's leers and Carey's boobs. That should get me through another season of this drivel.
