Drew Struzan Is Un-Retiring To Create New Art Work For Mondo!!

The Kidd here...

As if Mondo posters weren't hard enough to buy as it is, the exclusivity of them just went up with Slashfilm's news that world-renowned and legendary movie poster artist Drew Struzan is coming out of retirement to work with Mondo in the future.

In the past, Struzan has allowed some of his older work to be screen-printed by Mondo, most recently for Alamo Drafthouse's Summer of '82 screening of THE THING, and while that may continue, this new partnership is to allow for Struzan to create new originals for some of the licenses that Mondo holds, namely BACK TO THE FUTURE (which he's done one sheet art for before), JURASSIC PARK, the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy and many others.

Yeah, I wish I could score one of these in the 2.3 seconds window you need to get onto Mondo's website to order one when they go on-sale... or I could just pay quadruple the price when those same buyers put them up on eBay. One day... one day... a Struzan Mondo poster will be mine. Then again, I'll settle for a Mondo poster while I'm at it. Hey, beggars can't be choosers, right?
