I'd like to point out that I mentioned Before Watchmen Night Owl last week and said it was pretty decent...

Very '90s/New 52.

If they do a Guardians of the Galaxy movie, they will obviously have to use Nova. It would be AWESOME if they used Rocket Raccoon and Groot! But I don't see how they could ever pull that off. What I really want to see is Mantis. Ooh, and Cosmo would be cool also. I'd see that movie in a heartbeat but, alas, I don't think it'll ever get made.

GotG will be the 2008 team, and have Rocket Raccoon. Feige has stated as such, so dance the joy joy dance.

Every superhero movie that's come out has featured established characters that have spanned two and sometimes three generations, from the Greatest Generation, to Baby Boomers, to Generation X. GotG is something no one but X'rs have heard of, or cared about. This movie is going to fail. Hard. And as far as Night of 1000 Wolves goes, you guys *still owed me a review*, Bug. Just like Optimus's movie, JD has a tweaked memory. Possibly from too many cheezy poofs or some such. So you should at least review one of them. Just sayin'. So thanks, everyone else except Bug! I can't believe you masochists are still reading Justice League. I was out of town camping during the week. Sorry about the delayed reply.

that spidey cover is BRUTAL. not at all something I would expect from a Spidey cover...even if they just removed all the blood, it would be more appropriate

Thanks Pink, that's good news. I picked up the newest version of GotG because I loved the incarnation from the 70's with Martinex, Charlie 27, et al, but knew it wasn't the same characters. But because it was written by Abnett and Lanning I didn't care. Really enjoyed the newest incarnation anyway. Especially because they threw in Vance Astrovik and (if my memory serves me right, which is entirely questionable since I'm old) the cameo from Starhawk. That enigmatic character from the original run was one of the most interesting characters of my youth.
