Amber Heard Suffers From PARANOIA!!

The Kidd here...
With Liam Hemsworth already locked in as the lead and Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman making up the supporting cast, Robert Luketic's PARANOIA has turned its focus towards landing its female lead, where it has found Amber Heard ready for the role.
PARANOIA, which Relativity Media already has scheduled for September 27, 2013, is centered around "a blue-collar guy who makes a costly and illegal mistake while trying to get ahead in his entry-level job. His boss agrees not to turn him in under one condition: he must infiltrate the competition as a corporate spy," according to Variety.
So where does Heard come in? She'd be a one-night stand for Hemsworth who becomes a bit more crucial to his assignment after he learns she works at said company.
It's easy to write this off a bit, because well... this isn't the Harrison Ford of old we're talking about. Plus, Luketic is the man who brought THE UGLY TRUTH (in his defense, LEGALLY BLONDE and 21 aren't bad). However, Oldman is still Oldman, and Hemsworth has shown promise... now you've got Heard to look at, and perhaps things are on the up and up here.

Has been in maybe 5 good/great movies and about 30 horrible ones. Luckily for him, we all seem to forget the latter.
-
Damn. I did it myself.

Blade Runner, Witness, Mosquito Coast, Presumed Innocent, The Fugitive, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, Regarding Henry, American Graffiti. I think those all fall on the scale of "good to great" and that's without having to fall back on Star Wars or Indy.

That's the one where he went full retard, isn't it?

Got it for free from iTunes awhile back, never listened to it until recently after a long car trip. Pretty engaging actually, funny now they're making a movie. She's completely wrong for the part though. The girl described looks and acts nothing like her, but I guess we'll see. The fact that there's a mistake (or studio change that would completely ruin the whole point) in what Variety has heard bothers me though. He isn't trying to get ahead. He was a slacker pulling a prank and got caught hoping to get fired. The jerk boss blackmails him into pretending to be successful because he's a good BS'er. Makes me wonder if they're just being lazy, someone at the studio is being lazy, or if they're going to change it into something else. If it follows the book, it could be really good, but I don't have a lot of confidence.

its sad if he hasnt

...why do I know this?

she would win

avoiding the obvious Indy/Star Wars Apocalypse Now The Conversation American Graffiti The Fugitive Blade Runner Presumed Innocent Witness Mosquito Coast and Patriot Games was pretty good too so you add in the 6 Indy and Star Wars films I would say that's 15 good movies

That's what Amber Heard when she put a sea shell to her ear.
by Tikidonkeypunch
That's all I got.

And I want to see her naked.

You know, I liked Drive Angry. It was great 70s drive-in trash, all duded up with a few million dollars spending cash. Fitchner was great, too. I also liked her in The Ward. But I did not like The Ward. Not even when I first saw it as Identity.
-
...Heard's already been nude on film. Your wish is granted.
-
...I really am stalking her.

red ned. Drive Angry looked like my kind of trash, but I was cautious.

Your opinion has bumped it into the rental zone. Thanks.

.....a much hotter and more bi-sexual version of Scarlett Johansson. Not that i would kick either one out for eating crackers in bed. Any chance we will ever get a movie with Amber and Scarlett playing bi-curious siblings stranded on a deserted island together? Kind of like a lesbian Blue Lagoon? No? Too bad....

Well, boinking an uber metro like Depp doesn't necessarily turn her into a hasbian..

Hell, she prolly dove on a lot more masculine looking lesbos.

"This isn't the Harrison Ford of old we're talking about . . . Hemsworth has shown promise." When you're rating Liam Hemsworth ahead of Harrison Ford, it is a sad, sad state of affairs.
-
...it's got it all. A ridiculously sublime opening and closing, an absolutely vile villain, dazzlingly implausible action sequences, bad nudity, characters introduced who offer no discernible value to the film, gleefully sadistic violence, Cage sharpening his rendition of the man with no shame to a stiletto tip and dialogue as gripping as a Cormac McCarthy novel written in Mad-Libs. And Fitchner is just a revelation. There should be awards for the kind of performance he gives in this movie, though I shudder to think of what such an award would be named. I've uh...watched it three times.
