Houston! I've Got 50 Tickets To See BRAVE Next Wednesday With A Q&A With Director Mark Andrews!

Nordling here.
I haven't seen Pixar's BRAVE yet, and I'm jealous of the people who have. But next week in Houston, on Wednesday, June 20th, we'll be screening BRAVE with director Mark Andrews in attendance. BRAVE is his first directed feature, taking over from Brenda Chapman, but you'll recognize Andrews' work in the Pixar short "One Man Band," as well as storyboard work from movies like THE IRON GIANT, OSMOSIS JONES, and CARS, and television shows like STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS and SAMURAI JACK. I'm sure many of you will have questions about his work at Pixar and his other projects, both past and future.
And I've got 50 tickets to give away! Here's what you need to do:
Send me an e-mail with your name and the names of your guests (no more than three additional). We encourage families to apply, and families will get preferential picks over just regular folks, but if you want to bring your nieces or nephews or cousins that's fine. Make sure you put the ages of those on your guest list.
In the email simply put the bravest thing you've ever done. It doesn't have to be 500 words, just simple and direct - what have you done in your life that's challenged you, that made you a better person, and that helped you conquer your fear, whatever that fear may be.
I'll pick the best entries and send the winners an email with the theater and time of the screening. Email all entries to aicnhoustonscreenings@gmail.com. Do NOT send them to my Nordling address - they will be deleted without having been read.
WINNING DOES NOT GUARANTEE ADMISSION. There's going to be a lot of people at this screening, and if you win I advise you to come very early to insure that you get a seat for you and your guests. We'll have your name on the list, but this will fill up fast, so the sooner you apply the better. If you win and cannot attend, you MUST email me beforehand. If you don't this will exempt you from any future Houston screenings.
Thanks, and good luck!

As I can't make it: Why did they fire the original writer/director? What 'creative differences' did they have? Would love for someone to hit these guys hard on this one. Women haven't had much of a break from Pixar and it looks like this film got the shaft early on.

when Brenda was still in charge a lot of the scenery was set in the snow. Not sure why, I'm really liking that muddy green look! Plus theres a lovely Ghibli vibe in the poster

Really hope to get into this one! Nordling, you bring some great screenings to Houston. I think we're making other cities jealous.

Curious as to when winners will be getting confirmations?
