That's the way it's going to be for THOR 2 with the role of Fandral being recast with Zachary Levi. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Dallas' schedule on ONCE UPON A TIME has gotten in the way with production dates for the THOR sequel, and, as a result, he's been forced to bow out, leaving the door open for Zachary Levi to land the role he actually once had.
Levi was originally cast as Fandral for the initial THOR movie, but when NBC decided to extend CHUCK after it looks like it was on its way to cancellation, Levi had no choice to pass. Funny how things have worked out to bring it all full circle.
