Robocop's wife may have been found for MGM's remake, with Deadline reporting Abbie Cornish (Sweet Pea in Zack Snyder's SUCKER PUNCH) is finalizing her deal to take the female lead.
Cornish would play Murphy's (or whatever Joel Kinnaman's character will be named) wife in Jose Padilha's ROBOCOP, who believes she's a widow after what happened to her husband before he was transformed into part man, part machine.
Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson and now Abbie Cornish... feeling any more confident that they may actually be able to pull this off?
