    Finally...

    by Chris Moody

    ...we talk about TELEVISON!

...and leave the politics for POLITICO.

    by Chris Moody

    :-)

  • It seemed to be almost constantly running last year - Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall versions - then nothing. Perhaps, like me, ABC too was suffering a bit of Wipeout fatigue. When the Fall version came around, I had little interest and less time to watch. I'll probably tune in now and again to see some real-world danger room with non-mutants action.

Saw an ad for "The Choice" during last night's "Touch"

    by jim

Wow. Has the lawsuit already been filed? Or is "The Choice" done by the same people who produce "The Voice" (even if it is on NBC)? Sure, it's not a singing show, but that seems to be pretty much the only difference. Celebrities in big swivel chairs judging contestants on their voice alone? Maybe it is time for me to pitch NBC on my show idea: "American Idolatry" - Celebrity judges from the worlds of music, film, television, and sports go all across the country to find the country's biggest, most devoted, fans. Winners of the cattle-call first round come to LA and compete weekly, performing whatever tasks their idols request of them (tasks decided by the public from a phone-in vote). The public also votes for its favourite "Fan", the top vote-getters move on, the least popular go home (to a life of obscurity). The winner, the "Fan" who amassed the most fans and, therefore, the most phone in votes, is crowned the "Ultimate Fan". In future seasons, previous winners will appear as judges, mentors, or task-idols as they too will have by then joined the realms of "celebrity" with their own fan base of rabid, idolizing, fans.

Has anyone ever completed the Wipeout course...besides Batman?.

    Why no Episodes listing?

    by jim loder

Premieres July 1. First season was way better than I though it would be, kinda like Veep. Looking forward to it.

    Ahhh, June releases only...

    by jim loder

just saw that in the title. Luggage.

    @ prestigeworldwide:

    by Chris Moody

Huh? Do you talk about sewage at the dinner table? Do you talk about politics during a Calculus class? Why can't we talk about TV in a COAXIAL section of AICN?

  • June 1, 2012, 2:01 p.m. CST

    BTW, prestige...

    by Chris Moody

...the media is decidedly liberal. Most will even admit as much. To say otherwise is purely an attempt to defend the goals of hyper-liberalism. Or, you are so far to the Left that even the New York Times seems "centrist" to you. LOL!

  • June 1, 2012, 2:03 p.m. CST

    I am looking forward to...

    by Chris Moody

...DALLAS and FUTURAMA. I am still on the fence about TEEN WOLF. It would be great to see a "Celebrity Wipeout" though. There is nothing like seeing celebrities make a fool of themselves for a charity!

  • June 1, 2012, 2:04 p.m. CST

    I have to admit...

    by Chris Moody

...I enjoyed Tia and Tamara too. Guilty pleasure. I had the hots for them when I was a kid. :-)

    "Breaking Bad" ...

    by Toe Jam

Doesn't come back until July 15. How do you not know this if you are a fan of the show?

  • June 1, 2012, 8:02 p.m. CST

    Dallas? Really?

    by Mugato5150

Shouldn't Larry Hagman be so ashamed that he got a free liver for being a drunk while someone else on the list probably died that he wouldn't show up on another fucking iteration of Dallas? Oh and that the original fucking sucked.

  • And... for years that sanctimonius anti-smoking advocate douche would carry a little fan to blow smoke back at smokers while he destroyed his own liver by drinking massive amounts of alcohol.

  • June 1, 2012, 11:31 p.m. CST

    Hicks

    by Manatee

For the love of god, can we all agree to stop watching programs about rednecks, cajuns, and swamp freaks? I lived most of my life surrounded by these people. Trust me... they aren't very interesting. In fact, most of them are extremely unpleasant. Sorry to generalize but sometimes, it works.
